The House unanimously passed a series of tax reform bills this morning that will lower Georgia’s income tax rate and increase the homestead exemption and child tax deduction. Representatives were divided over SB 333, a bill proposing a new city of Mulberry in Gwinnett County. In the Senate, debate over SB 362, linking a new business’s future tax exemptions to how their employees can unionize.
