On Day 22, new Rules Chairman takes the helm and the House helps rural areas get dentists.
On day 22, Rep. Butch Parrish (R - Swainsboro) takes over as the new House Rules Chairman. In the House, HB 872 will help bring dentists to rural areas through a cancelable loan program for health care providers. And, the Senate passed SB 212 which will replace Probate Court Judges who handle election duties in smaller counties with new election boards.
