After passing five house bills, the Senate called out the House for not passing theirs.

On the House floor, a growing public health issue was addressed with SB 46, which requires syphilis and HIV testing for expecting mothers during pregnancy exams. The Senate passed three public safety-related House bills until Sen. Matt Brass (R-Newnan) called out the House. “In my hand, I hold 9 bills. That’s how many they have passed over there. We are at sixty house bills that we have passed.”
