Season 53 Episode 36 | 29m 56sVideo has Closed Captions

On Day 37, “party line” transgender-affirming bill is going to the Governor’s desk.

The passionate debate over trans-youth’s medical treatment continued as the Senate passed the House-amended SB 140. Democrats called Republicans hypocrites after supporting parental choice, but not this time around. In contrast, the House passed two bills with little opposition: SB 47, making vaping a misdemeanor in non-smoking areas, and SB 218, providing a personal ID after serving prison time.
