On Day 38, illegal immigrants and foreign adversaries were the focus. HB 301 would allow individuals to sue local governments that fail to enforce immigration laws. SB 420 bans certain foreign countries from owning farmland near military bases. This afternoon, Sen. Gloria Butler said Democrats would continue to fight for Medicaid expansion in Georgia, despite lack of movement this session.
