Its Sine Die at the Gold Dome, and like many in the past, it was anything but smooth.

As Lawmakers scrambled to get bills passed on Sine Die, Senate Democrats opposed SB 222, the “Zuckerbucks Bill.” The bill prevents using outside donations to help fund elections, even though many counties struggle to pay for them. In the House, SB 63, which mandates cash bonds for crimes like shoplifting and street racing, passed. And the legislature delivered the mandated 2024 Fiscal Budget.
