GA Legislature's Special Session ends with the House passing the GOP congressional map.
The Georgia House passed Senate Bill 2 EX, the republican penned joint congressional map today, 96 to 68, ending the Legislature's Special session. The map likely gives republicans another seat in the U.S. House. As they have throughout the session, Democrats say the process was rushed, shrouded, didn't reflect the states growing diversity, and vow to fight the map in court.
