The spot is Le Chick and it's located in Wynwood.

I'm the director of events and communications at Le Chick in Wynwood.

So Coco# Coig and Jorge Sanchez, they're best friends, lifelong friends from Madrid, Spain.

And Coco# was a pilot and he was always traveling around, seeing like amazing restaurants.

And one thing# that really captivated him about restaurants is the sense of community that I can build and# the atmosphere that I can create.

So he was always traveling around, and Miami was one of his# favorite destinations when he was traveling and he called his best friend, Jorge, to come with him# to Miami and open up the restaurant.

The decor really, it actually nods back to like the old# factory that it once was.

It's very industrial chic.

The outside is really lush and green, but# also concrete.

So we also have murals and artwork from different local Miami artists and# international artists throughout the venue as well.

The venue itself, so well, we're American# restaurant, but we really nod to all the different cultures that are in America, as it's a melting# pot.

So our main dishes would be our royale with cheese.

We won third best burger in the nation# with that.

And then our fried chicken, we also won top fried chicken in the US.

So those are our# two strong dishes.

We also have a wood fire grill.

So our rotisserie chicken is a really classic dish# that we have as well.

It's very juicy.

We finish it on the grill.

Le Chick, it's really chic.

So tell me about this fried chicken and how it is one of the best in town.

Okay, so I'm actually a little picky when it comes to chicken.

So the fact# that this place, they just do it so good.

Perfect amount of fried breadcrumbs, still# moist inside.

It is absolutely amazing.

All right, interesting.

Lucy.

They're the best.

Well, I didn't have the chicken# and so I have to go back.

Are there other things?

So I could have the chicken.

Okay.

Definitely.

But we loved it from the moment that we walked in.# It's got a great vibe.

A.. outdoor space, which was very lively and inside,# it's really intimate with beautiful lighting.

Emily.

It was a great environment.

Of course, Wynwood, there was tons of things to do.

We# took the bright line up from Fort Lauderdale.

Love the bright line.

So it was nice.

And# it's just a quick, like, two miles.

Okay.

Kristy, tell me what you# had this last time you went.

Okay, so we started off as an app, the# fried chicken, of course.

I mean you gotta get the fried chicken.

Obviously not.

Yeah, I was gonna say, some of us, no, but really, really a must there.

For food, we# had shared a couple of different dishes.

That's kind of our style when we got out to eat.# So I had gotten the burger.

It was a smash burger.

It was really good.

I love the secret# sauce, is what they call it.

It's, you know, similar to a Big Mac sauce.

That was great.

And# then we also got the salmon sandwich and then the oxtail bowl, which very different, little# unique, probably not for everyone.

Amazing.

[Michelle] Cocktail?

Yes.

We had gotten a couple different, I personally got the tropical temptation.

This# was a really nice cocktail, made fres..

It's passion fruit, a bit of pineapple, and it's# just the right amount of sweetness and tart.

I'm actually not a big fan of sweet drinks, but# this was just the perfect combination.

Okay, Lucy.

If you didn't get chicken, so tell me what you did get.

My very next trip, c.. a delicious octopus ceviche.

It was so tender.

It# was so fresh.

It had like the beautiful cilantro and red pepper.

It was out of this world, citrusy# and delicious.

That was our appetizer.

And then I had the wagyu ragu rigatoni.

[Emily] That looked good.

[Lucy] Loved the pasta.

It sounded so# good.

And it was a real nice rich dish of, you know, wagyu beef.

[Michelle] Right.

[Lucy] It was delicious.

And my husband had the# skirt steak with fingerling potatoes.

Delicious.

Their bread pudding was out of this world.

[Michelle] Em.

We got the tuna tacos, and they were so amazing.# We of course got the chicken and split it.

[Michelle] How was the chicken?

[Emily] Great.

I liked the fried chicken.

And then they also# got the rotisserie chicken, which I tried a little bit of it.

And that was# on the bone.

There was actually bones there.

There were bones.

It was juicy.

I don't think I've had boned stuff.

Yeah, it was good.

We also got cocktails.

You might sense a theme with pistachio, but# I got a pistachio martini.

It was so good.

[Kristy] I've actually never heard of that.

[Emily] So I saw it and I was like, I have to have it.

[Lucy] Wow.

[Emily] And then I did the passion fruit# margarita, and it was one of the ..

I'd had.

Had the tajin on the side.

So good.

Okay, tell me about prices.

It's again, you know, very in line with the other restaurants.

We didn't# spend any more or less.

I think it was reasonable for the quality of food.

It was very good.

Okay, well Kristy, Le Chick was your pick.

Sum it up for me, please.

You can always expect to not only get great atmosphere, tropical oasis vibes, but also a great# meal and of course a great cocktail as well.

Modern American, great for groups, and a lovely outside# atmosphere, great food, and a wide variety.
