Learn Moreabout PBS online sponsorship(exciting music) - Welcome to the 16th season of WVIA "Scholastic Scrimmage".
I'm your host, Paul Lazar.
"Scholastic Scrimmage" is a question and answer competition, featuring high school students from across the WVIA viewing area.
In each program, two schools will compete in a single elimination tournament for a chance to win 1, 3, or $5,000.
WVIA would like to thank our sponsor, FNCB and People Security Bank for making this competition possible.
This year, "Scholastic Scrimmage" looks a little different, and the rules have been revised due to the coronavirus pandemic, but in each half, students will have the chance to alternatively answer one question.
