Learn Moreabout PBS online sponsorshipI became interested in sketching around fifth grade because I was really into comic book art.
And my favorite series was "DC's Batman", because of their stylistic approach to their comics.
I really enjoy doing blohsh paintings because there's many different techniques that you can use with them, and I think it really gives it a unique and cool look.
This piece is based off of an assignment I had to do in art class, where I had to create the illusion of erasing myself with graphite and colored pencils.
And the background is based off of the Sandworm from my favorite Tim Burton film, "Beetlejuice."
I plan on attending Indiana University of Pennsylvania for art education, with a focus on illustration that hopefully I can mold the minds of future artists to come.
