Lightfoot Cracks Down on Speeding Violations

New, stricter rules for red light and speed cameras are now in effect.

Starting Monday, the city of Chicago is jacking up fines. If you drive even 6 miles over the speed limit near schools and parks, the city will slap you with a ticket. And that has the mayor at odds with some aldermen. Carol Marin and students from DePaul University’s Center for Journalism Integrity and Excellence have the story.
