An arts center is hosting a workshop for sugar skulls in time for Dia de los Muertos.

In Little Village, OPEN Center for the Arts is hosting a two-day workshop making calaveras, the decorated sugar skulls that adorn Dia de los Muertos ofrendas. The organizers say the workshop is a way to keep the traditions of Mexico alive here in Chicago.
