The Broad Street Ballroom, an architectural landmark in New York City’s financial district, provided the perfect backdrop for a riveting performance by country music visionary Sturgill Simpson. Backed by a powerful horn section, Simpson made new arrangements from his Grammy-nominated album, Metamodern Sounds in Country Music, and played his new album A Sailor’s Guide to Earth in full.
