New project to take place in Ocean County
Sea level rise, driven by climate change, is shrinking beaches up and down the Jersey Shore. “Living shorelines” could be a new form of protection, and a massive new project in Ocean County is a prime example. Lead funding for Peril and Promise is provided by Dr. P. Roy Vagelos and Diana T. Vagelos. Major support is provided by Marc Haas Foundation and Sue and Edgar Wachenheim, III.
