Amateur Archeologist vs. Looter: A Matter of Context?

Clip: Season 1 Episode 3 | 6m 10sVideo has Closed Captions

Amateurs discuss loosening Florida law to increase participation in archeology.

Amateur archeologists argue that the laws should be loosened in regard to "isolated finds" from outside of a proper site. Professionals value intact sites; amateurs argue that out of context artifacts should be fair game. They also argue that increased participation would unearth more sites for researchers.
