A WFSU producer takes his son kayaking and camping on the Apalachicola River.

WFSU Producer Rob Diaz de Villegas takes his son Max kayaking and camping on the Apalachicola River as part of the RiverTrek paddling adventure. Rob first went on RiverTrek in 2012, when Max was one-year-old. Ever since, Max has wanted to experience the river for himself. Max wants to camp on sand bars and climb Sand Mountain. RiverTrek is a fundraiser for the Apalachicola Riverkeeper.
