Saint Vincent Island | Where Red Wolves Learn to Be Wild

Clip: Season 2 Episode 16 | 5m 55sVideo has Closed Captions

We learn what makes Saint Vincent Island an ideal host to endangered red wolves.

Saint Vincent Island compacts a diversity of habitats into 12,000 acres, making it an ideal red wolf island propagation site. We explore the island with Robin and Mike Vroegop, members of the Friends of the Saint Vincent National Wildlife Refuge. Robin shows us the island's freshwater lakes, and takes us to the site of the island red wolves' most harrowing moment.
