WFSU’s Mike Plummer tours the Power of the Past Museum housing the Dekle Family Collection of old airplanes and engines. James and John Dekle maintain 3 biplanes and an impressive number of early aircraft engines, including one with ties to Scarface Al Capone and another “one of a kind” engine built by Charles Taylor, A.K.A. the engine builder for the Wright brother’s first powered flight.
