Dunn Ranch Prairie Showcases Grassland Restoration Efforts
Ninety minutes north of Kansas City near Eagleville lies the Dunn Ranch Prairie. It’s a pristine example of the prairie that once covered this region but now, less than one percent remains. Anne Copeland Davis has more on a unique habitat where the bison and native birds roam. Summer, when the wildflowers are in full bloom, is particularly colorful. On June 28, they’re planning a Bison Tour.
