And so you basically had two choices if you were here in Louisiana, either you went to Southern or you went to Grambling.
- There's no Southern or Grambling, I think they should feel the same way.
HBCUs exist because, at one point, African Americans could not attend the PWI.
So we had to find places to go and teach our students.
- You could have a husband that went to Grambling.
You could have a wife that went to Southern.
Or you gonna have someone within that family that went to a different university.
- I have more relatives living and working at Grambling than I have here.
