Peaks Island is one of the more than 300 islands nestled inside Casco Bay. Peaks is part of the city of Portland and is only three miles offshore from the city proper. The population swells from 900 during the winter to more than 3,000 in the summer where tourists and locals alike can enjoy hiking, biking,kayaking, paddle boarding, shopping, fine dining and a vibrant night-life.
