So what are you going to show us today, Mindy?
OK.
So I'm going to make a traditional Manhattan classic drink.
It pairs well with this Solminer.
It might sound a little strange to some people.
But the dryness of the rye really brings out the richness of the brown butter.
And it's just a nice classic drink.
So OK. Great.
Yeah.
Yeah so.
[music playing] We're starting with some ice, a little bit of ice in your shaker.
And then get yourself a nice rye whiskey.
And we do 2.5 ounces of rye whiskey.
[music playing] And then the good sweet vermouth is important to me.
Half an ounce of good sweet vermouth.
This a classic Manhattan recipe, or something you create?
Yes, this is a classic.
Why mess with the classics, right?
All right.
OK. And then we're going to do dash of bitters.
And Manhattans are traditionally stirred.
Some people prefer they're shaken.
But traditionally, could stir.
Get it nice and chill.
[music playing] All right.
Thank you.
And then we just use Luxardo cherries.
They're Italian cherries.
They're signature pearl cocktail.
INTERVIEWER: Oh beautiful.
We have your classic Manhattan.
INTERVIEWER: Oh, wow, that looks lovely.
MINDY HEINRICH: Thank you.
