Follows the journey of a young man named Dave McCoy as he discovers the mountain wonderland of the Eastern Sierra Nevada in California. Through the years he shared his love of alpine skiing with his friends by building and running rope tows on small snowy slopes. The popularity of the sport grew and Dave began building one of the greatest ski resorts in the country, Mammoth Mountain.
