#### The Kentucky Senate today voted 31 to six in favor of a bill that would ban abortion after a woman has been pregnant 15 weeks.
The bill still needs House approval.
With that, it would go to the governor's desk.
#### Governor Beshear has vetoed a Republican-backed bill to end Kentucky's COVID state of emergency a month before the date already established.
The governor says that would needlessly deprive Kentucky of 50 million dollars in SNAP - or food stamps - money tied to Kentucky's COVID emergency status.
The Kentucky House and Senate will have the chance to override the veto.
#### A Kentucky Senate committee today approved a bill, creating a fund to help any refugees placed in Kentucky.
The bill calls for 10-thousand dollars in help, per family, and it does not JUST apply to refugees from Ukraine.
