#### Senator Mitch McConnell says he will oppose Judge Ketanji Brown Jackson's nomination to the U.S. Supreme Court.
#### Governor Beshear says 29 Kentuckians, in 13 counties, have been confirmed with the omicron BA-2 COVID variant since the first week of February.

#### Kentucky's unemployment rate was four-point-two percent for February.
That's down two-tenths of a percent from January, and down half a percent from a year ago.
#### The attorney general's office says it opposes the proposed sale of Kentucky Power to Liberty Utilities.
In a statement, Attorney General Daniel Cameron says utility rates are too high in eastern Kentucky, and he is afraid this sale would only make that worse.
