In the aftermath of Hurricane Maria, pharmaceutical production in Puerto Rico ground to a halt. In Wisconsin, this translates to a shortage of IV bags that are used to deliver drugs to patients. Philip Trapskin, manager of Drug Policy Program and Patient Care Services at UW health, discusses the scope of the shortage in Wisconsin and ways UW Health is handling it.
