It was March 6th, 2020.
Today's ceremony honored those who lost their lives and the spirit of community that got the state through the pandemic.
So more than 20,450 Kentuckians have been lost to Covid 19.
I remember I was just a child in the fourth grade classroom.
When I figured out about the first case, the pandemic didn't divide us.
It simply tested us.
Did I encourage us all to remember our loved ones to celebrate their lives, and to support each other as we continue to adapt to our lives?
Without them?
To date, Kentucky's had more than 1.7 million Covid cases.
