I'm your host, Jordan Spudville, and today we have two teams joining us who are ready to knock our socks off with some trivia.
In the bottom row we have Mascoutah with Daniel, Johanna, and Mark.
And on the top we have Sandoval with Gabby, Leona, and Quentin.
Now that we've met our contestants, it's time to go over the rules.
I'm gonna be reading a series of toss up questions that both teams can answer worth 10 points.
If a contestant answers a toss up correctly, they have the chance to answer a bonus question as a team for 20 points.
However, if they get that bonus question incorrect, the other team can steal it away from them and earn themselves 10 points.
The interruption rule will be in effect in today's game.
So if someone decides to interrupt me and they answer incorrectly, the other team automatically receives five points and they get to hear the entire question.
As usual, we're gonna be having our lightning round halfway through our game where I'm going to be reading a series of questions in any given category worth 10 points each that each team can answer as many as they possibly can in 60 seconds.
