I'm your host, Jordan Spudville, and today we are joined by two teams who have won our game before and are competing against each other and to see who will come out on top.
On the bottom, we have Nashville with Adeline, Garrett, and Malayna.
On the top, we have returning Mater Dei, with Callie, Dakota, and Cohen.
Now that we've met our lovely contestants, it's time to go over the rules.
As always, I'm gonna be reading a series of 10 point toss up questions that both teams will be able to answer.
If a team answers a toss up correctly, they get to answer a 20 point bonus question.
However, if they miss that bonus question, the other team can steal it away from them and earn themselves 10 points.
The interruption rule is still in effect in today's game, so if anyone decides to interrupt me and they answer the question incorrectly, the other team receives five points automatically and they get to hear the entire question.
Of course, we're going to be having our lightning round halfway through our game, where I'm gonna be reading a series of questions in any given category where each team will have the chance to answer as many as they possibly can in under 60 seconds.
We know the rules, it's time to put on our thinking caps, and let's get down to quizness.
