#### Senator Mitch McConnell joined several other senators for a visit to Ukraine Saturday.
McConnell says those senators are committed to U.S. support for Ukraine.
McConnell says it's in the national interest of the U.S. to deter wars of aggression.
#### The U.S. Army says some troops from Kentucky's Fort Campbell will leave for Europe this summer.
And about 300 soldiers from Fort Knox will go to Poland and Germany.
All of this is in support of NATO after the Russian invasion of Ukraine.
#### COVID cases continue to increase in Kentucky.
12 of Kentucky's 120 counties now have "medium" level case numbers, including Jefferson County, Henderson, Union, and a cluster of counties in the far eastern part of the state.
