Learn Moreabout PBS online sponsorship(upbeat music) - I'm Paris Jackson in the Crosscut KCTS 9 Newsroom.
Do you, a neighbor, or a loved one have a personal experience with school desegregation in Washington?
If that sounds familiar, you're invited to participate in a partnership between KCTS 9, national nonprofit, StoryCorps, and PBS series, "American Experience" to capture that story.
The goal is to record, uplift, and archive the nation's stories about racial desegregation and educational equity efforts in the American school system by getting accounts from individuals, administrators, and community members who've lived those experiences.
All you need to do is bring someone important in your life with you to the KCTS 9 Studio in Seattle.
The two of you will discuss the school desegregation experience during a 40-minute conversation.
With your permission, that talk will get archived at the Library of Congress.
StoryCorps and "American Experience" will record the conversations the entire month of May.
I'm Paris Jackson.
