#### Kentucky's COVID positivity rate continues to increase.
It's now back above ten percent - for the first time since February 24th.
264 people are now in the hospital.
That's down a little since last week.
#### Governor Beshear is praising Sheriff Kevin Corman of Jessamine County, who died over the weekend.
The governor says Sheriff Corman was a friend.
He says Kentuckians should be grateful to Corman for his commitment to the people of Kentucky.
#### House Speaker David Osborne will be the emcee of this year's Fancy Farm picnic.
Last year, it was Bob Babbage, a former Democratic officeholder who served as state auditor and secretary of state.
Fancy Farm chairman Steven Elder says organizers try to rotate between the two parties.
The Fancy Farm picnic is on August sixth.
