#### The U.S. Senate has blocked the creation of a January Sixth Commission to investigate the deadly riot at the U.S. Capitol.
The plan needed 60 votes to move forward, meaning it needed all 50 Democrats and ten Republicans.
Only six Republicans supported it.
Senators Mitch McConnell and Rand Paul voted no.
#### Today is the day COVID-related curfews end in Kentucky restaurants and bars.
Businesses and activities with fewer than one thousand people can operate at 75 percent capacity.
At MORE than one thousand people, the capacity limit is now 60 percent.
