#### The U.S. Supreme Court is refusing to hear Jerry Lundergan's attempt to overturn his conviction for trying to funnel illegal contributions to his daughter Alison Lundergan Grimes' 2014 U.S. Senate campaign.
The court is not saying why it won't hear Lundergan's case.
Lundergan is a businessman and former state Democratic Party chair.
#### In Louisville, a judge says the man accused of shooting at a mayoral candidate will remain in federal custody until his trial.
Quintez Brown is accused of firing shots at candidate Craig Greenberg.
The judge agreed with prosecutors that releasing Brown would pose a danger to the community.
