The city of Litchfield was under a state of emergency today because of weather damage.

And his news conference this afternoon, Governor Bashir said people had to be evacuated from a hospital in Litchfield because of the lack of water.

We called the mayor of Litchfield today who said that was not the case.

I'm not sure how that got started.

We did not do any evacuations or attempt any endeavor to get to that point.

We didn't have them to cancel school today because we have a couple of schools within the city limits here that that use any water.

But they didn't cancel schools.

We know there were no more evacuations or anything like that.

Well, right now, we're back up and running.

We're taking some time to get the water ions filled back in the tanks, of course.

But as of about 930, ten this morning, we didn't get the pipe located in the lake fix.

So we're moving in the right direction right now.

We did have a tractor trailer load of water came in today and we set up out of the fire grounds and people came in to get water.

Of course, we had the boil water advisory going on.

And people some people that fall down said they needed to make their coffee.

You know, so but right now, we're in pretty good shape.

Like I say, we're we've got the lake repaired and we're heading toward the homestretch right now.

There have been several reports of property damage and everything from the flooding.

But as far as injuries, I'm not aware of any.

Mainly, we had one house fire down the road from the city about 10 minutes out and little community called in there to analyze and strike and did considerable damage to their home.

But that's the only thing I'm aware of, that we had any any problems.

We did have some trees across roads and things like that.

But those are are mostly cleared up at this point.

Mayor Miller hopes the state of emergency can be lifted by the end of the day.
