It's glaring.
It's acute, and it's undermining America's national security.
President Obama's DHS secretary used to say that a thousand border crossers, the day overwhelms the system.
Today, they're reporting and countering over.

10,000 people a day down at the border.
And McConnell says because the asylum system is so overwhelmed, most of the new arrivals at the border are allowed into the United States before their legal status can be determined.
