Hundreds of cars lined up early Tuesday morning outside the Meadowlands YMCA and waited for hours to pick up meal kits and other necessities. The food distribution has taken place weekly since March and the demand is overwhelming. In just the last two months, the Y has handed out half a million meals, and they're expecting to reach 1 million by next week.
