Measure Would Require City to Track Migrant Shelter Evictions

The measure is set for a final vote by the full Chicago City Council on April 17.

Ald. Andre Vasquez (40th Ward) said he authored the measure to ensure “transparency, accountability and accessibility” as officials begin slowly evicting from city shelters migrants sent to Chicago from the southern border.
