The Medford Drop is a youth center for folks 14 to 25 that offers peer support services, as well as resource navigation and a safe, sober place for folks to come hang out between three and six Monday through Friday.

Everybody that works here is a certified peer support specialist through the state, helping folks get on to SNAP benefits, get social security cards, building resumes.

When folks come down to the Medford Drop, they can expect to find welcoming people, nice calm space to hang out at where they can play pool, have access to computers, access to mental and emotional support networks.

We've got ourselves a clothing exchange and a community kitchen.

We offer open mics and recovery support groups, all that fun stuff.

And that's how the drop in model was presented and created was a place of safety for youth that feel like they're the outsiders.

All of us are peer supports with different levels of lived experience, whether that be mental health or dealing with the judicial system or being houseless.

So we have that kind of meet you where you're at because we've been through it.

A lot of our youth can have one on ones with us and talk with us about what their life goals are, and we can help them reach those goals.

And then at the drop in center, that's where they can get a free meal, get on the computer, maybe work on a resume or look for a job or do some schoolwork.

We have unhoused youth.

We have youth that do have addictions.

We have youth that have mental health situations.

We have youth that, have bad home life situations and maybe some youth that are neurodivergent.

And so our platform's pretty far and wide.

Our services are available to anybody, 14 to 25 free of charge.

We've got this brand new building here that we've been in for about 3 or 4 months, and we're eager to serve the community.

All of us really do just want these youth in the community to thrive.

That's our main goal.
