Children are spending more time on social media than ever before. Teachers across Rhode Island say it’s important to show students how to analyze the media they’re consuming. Educators at the University of Rhode Island are also talking with adults about media literacy through the CourageousRI program. Rhode Island PBS Weekly speaks with educators about the role of media literacy in a democracy.
