Can state lawmakers strike a deal to keep the health insurance of 1 in 10 Montanans?

It’s ideology versus insurance in the Montana Legislature this spring as legislators decide how to continue health care coverage for nearly 100,000 Montanans. After a two-year trial run of Medicaid Expansion, the program is set to expire this summer. State lawmakers can vote to extend expansion, but will they be able to iron out an agreement that secures enough votes from both sides of the aisle?
