my name is hugh last name is yamara other people call me bicycle byron [Music] i grew up in japan with mix of american culture and japanese culture my mom is american and my dad is japanese not everyone have cars in japan especially when you're in high schools things like that everyone have bicycle it was all about commute at first ladies and gentlemen one more time for a huge yamada the bicycle baron my name is from japan and then when i was 18 for college i didn't have money i had guitar with me so i thought if i can bask around on the street and if i'm gonna travel with a bicycle i can do that [Music] i did it in japan for one full year from hokkaido to okinawa i met so many kind people and i've got to see lots of histories too lots of different landscapes that was the beginning of realizing that i really like riding bicycle start traveling [Music] i came to alaska just about a month ago it's very bicycle friendly in alaska the sea and the mountain and wild animals and the plants it's like why is this so beautiful that's how i feel [Music] gradually i got this thing that i want to do i want to go around the world with a bicycle alaska is going to be my starting point there must be someone out there i'd like to start from alaska and then towards japan it's a big rough design so far at the moment this is just a dream this is just something i want to do i really have to plan out i want to keep filming and make a vlog about it and post on youtube try to show what i see and welcome people to my life i hope my video will excite people and inspire people i don't know how long it will take 10 years from now i'll be probably writing somewhere in the world i'd like to have confidence in myself keep pedaling [Music]
