Former US senator is scheduled to be sentenced on Jan. 29 in corruption case
Federal District Court Judge Sidney Stein on Friday denied disgraced former U.S. Sen. Bob Menendez's motion to vacate all his corruption convictions. Menendez and two of his co-defendants, businessmen Fred Daibes and Wael Hana, had argued that their guilty verdicts should be tossed and a new trial should be held because prosecutors mishandled evidence that was shown to the jury.
