Northern Minnesota Community Colleges would merge under one accreditation under a plan approved by the Minnesota Colleges and Universities Board of Trustees. We talked with Northeast Higher Education District interim President Michael Raich about what the merger would mean for the colleges. Duluth Mayor Emily Larson was the guest of U.S. Senator Tina Smith at this week's State of the Union Speech.
