Facing a rising number of cases of measles in New York State, lawmakers are proposing a bill that would let teens get vaccinated without their parents’ consent. Families of 9/11 first responders, and the activists who support them, are facing more funerals and potentially no funding for the brave men and women who became gravely ill after working at the World Trade Center following the attacks.
