Yeah, but Horse Norcross is going to try to bring their A-game and we brought our A -game tonight.
Grace.
Olson is on the sidelines with a look at what people are talking about online Grace.
Thank you.

So there's cute little William.
What?
An adorable baby.
Now we're here, live to you from Georgia tonight and football.
Doesn't only run deep.
Here, the farmland.
And the horse culture.
Does one Eagle on the field tonight.
His life exemplifies.
Just that take a look.
The Milton Community rooted in farms horses and Old Town Style.
Hey, even the mayor says a quick good morning to farm animals of his own.
As he heads out the door, each morning.
We've got about 25 courses on our property here.
And then I also have a pet cow and I don't key and some people ask me why I have a donkey and I said, well, that's to keep the cow company.
The girl.
What's really?
Nice about Milton?
We feel like we're kind of a little gem with.
We still feel like we're out in the country and a lot of open land, feels more old -fashioned, but you can't take a peek into Milton history without meeting the English family, three generations.
That began in Milton still live.
Only a handful of miles apart and with a past present and seemingly future steeped in Milton Force culture Farm country, Andy.
High School football.
I remember when I was a little kid and me and my sister were in the driveway and my mom pulled up with his big trailer and two horses were inside me and my sister went crazy.
What was that feeling?
Like is awesome.
It's like Christmas.
When I moved here that I could see hold of one house.
This was rule area in 1953 78, years live between grandfather and Grandson, but that passion for the farm, has forged in Unbreakable bonds or real close.
He's taught me everything.
I needed to know.
Basically, all the how to run the tractor.
Yeah, that's me on the tractor.
Yeah, had a bush hog.
How to ground up the garden made my granddad always plan.
Garden every year sometimes, nailed down the shed.
These job cows and we used to give birth to live cow.
I learned it's like everything.
I know how to do it all.
Now, you have been a lot of ways, but I do belong, cousin, Grace.
I cooked rice every week.
Well, the grass is being cut.
You can find Jake on the football field.
Football is like my second nature.
And when I've been playing since fourth grade working here, and football are my two favorite things.
When asked to describe, Jake and a word or two 1 million football coach told me.
We're course.
Course, I'm sweating it out here on the field after school to putting in some good old elbow, grease on the Family Farms, hard work.
Just a part of who Jake is.
I wanted my children to have a little flavor of the farm.
And so that's what we did just following my parents lead and give them work ethic a selling the grandson we have.
So we're just real special to Jacob.
He's just real special to us and he'll say got anything else for me to do.
He's so willing to word.
So here, the English family happily remains celebrating farmland and football and Jake.
Their only grandson will gladly maintain that Legacy.
And here they remain here tonight at Milton.
I've got the whole English family.
I call them the Kings and the queens of Milton myself.
We've got Grandma and Grandpa, we've got extended family, uncle over here, played at Vanderbilt and in the NFL Paul played here at Milton.
We've got a football family here tonight and we also So their family is watching in California online at gpb.org/sports.
So this is quite a family affair, mark.
Thanks, Grace, Farm, family and football.
You got to like the English family.
Thanks for that.
Now, coming up.
We've got a couple of guys calling this game tonight that you're going to love Larry Smith.
And former Falcon.
Chuck Smith are going to break down the x's in the O's.
Now, in a little segment that we call extra point.
Well, we promised an extra points earlier is some keys to this game here in Norcross and Milton Chuck.
Let's start first with experience.
Of course, Norcross, two -time defending state champs.
What do you think?
What he lost, sixty two players in.
Remember Milton comes back with five offensive line returning from 2013 Norcross none.
So guess what?
This eye doesn't lie.
The eye in the sky doesn't lie.
It goes over to Milton Milton what happens when you study film?
Let's go.
Well, I just got fits.
All right, you got to get experience side.
Temple now, I like what the Eagles.
Try to run on this.
Well and I like it too, but here's the thing.
The Eagles are going to run a play every 15 seconds.
So, you know what that does that wears you down and we got a young team like in Norcross again, it slows you down.
So I give that to another one to Milton.
Okay, we'll get very quickly now running game.
I'm gonna jump in here Norcross Jumeirah Billings ran 10:56 last week running game.
I in the sky I'm not argue with you.
They breed running back.
Alright, extra points for the game.
Let's go back to you guys.
They're having way too much fun.
Well, high school, football teams.
They strive to keep all their players healthy with coaches trainers, all that conditioning, but you and I those people who are not playing High School football anymore or never did, we could use some pointers to when it comes to staying healthy.
So, joining me now is the president and general manager of Cigna.
This is Rich.
Novak.
Thank you so much for being here.
We appreciate it.
Thank you, Claire.
Thanks for having me.
So we are talking about for those of us who don't play high school football anymore, or maybe never did.
We need to stay active.
It's just as important for us as it is for these guys out on the field.
So what are some of the most important things especially for people their age who maybe aren't envelope.
Well team.
Yeah.
So, you know, Claire, the most important thing is to keep it simple.
Just do the simple things get out and exercise.
If you're a kid, go, the park play ball, go play Hoops in your driveway.
You like to skateboard, go out and skateboard, go play, catch with your dad, play, catch with your friends.
Just keep it simple.
And you can do plenty of things that keep yourself active and in great shape.
Well, and one of the things you you told us before is that one hour a day is really all, it takes one out, one hour a day and it doesn't have to be 60 solid minutes either.
Although you would think for kids they should be able to do that.
But when people get get older transition, you know, folks in their fifties, like myself, you know, it can be 20 minutes here, 15 minutes there and so on and really all it takes is go out and walk, you know walk the steps and sell the elevator walk around the parking lot at lunch has plenty of things, people can do to keep themselves healthy, and I'm going to put you on the spot just a little bit.
You told me.
Before the show started that you have been a success story because of walking.
I have been a success story because of walking diet and exercise.
And so, three years ago.
I started on a this journey.
I've lost 36 pounds and they've been able to keep it off by by being diligent about that.
And that's really all I do.
I try to walk four to five times a week for about an hour a day.
Alright, thank you so much for being here.
Mr. Novak.
We appreciate your support throughout this football season.
Thank you.
It's my pleasure and congratulations on the weight loss.
Thank you.
All right, Mark.
All right.
We're getting ready for this big game.
We've got Milton in Norcross, you know, Norcross won back-to-back state champions.
They graduated over 60 seniors last year, but one guy has returned.
And that's the coach Keith Maloof and he's with our John Nelson right now.
John.
Thank you very much.
Mark, catching up with the coach.
All those graduation 60-plus seniors, but you got kids, you're just rolling them in and rolling them in.
Well, these kids have worked hard.
I've said it over and over all summer long.
It's their time.
They've gone against a lot of great players, their freshman sophomore junior year.
And now A lot of them is their time to shine and then we've got a good mix of sophomore stepping in and contributing and overall.
I'm just real, please go to Juniors that are doing their job and it's just a great mix and kids were playing hard worked hard and it's their time to make a name for themselves.
And in these first two wins.
You 11 passing crazy.
The other one running crazy.
You going to you got 50/50 out of the first to win.
Well, at least now we know we can do both.
So, you know, first game against Tucker, they were able to stop the run.
So we do with a little bit last week.
Brookwood was given us.
A little bit of both.
And once we felt like we had the game under control Billings took over and we were just able to, you know, take take control of the game, right Match Game to finish up here in 30 seconds to win this game tonight.
I need the blank.
We need to take care of the ball.
We needed to be great on special teams and defense.
Just needs to keep getting a little bit better each week.
All right.
Well, there you go, get em.
We'll see you in a little bit.
Thank you Mark.
That's it for one.
Coach will catch up with the other coaches as we go.
You want to talk about a guy who's really living in it right now.
What all these players that he's getting year after year?
After year coach Maloof is high on the hog with the Norcross Blue Devils this time, you know, I love coach Maloof.
He's done a great job there.
Norcross has won back-to- back state champions.
He's takes time right before the game to talk to us.
You gotta love that.
Yeah.
I mean he's well, I was gonna say he's pretty humble giving us that extra couple minutes, but he has a lot to be proud of us.
He does.
He's built a great program there at Norcross.
All right.
We're just getting warmed up here on the all access pass coming up.
Next former Falcon shucks.
Smith he's gonna drop by and talk recruiting.
Plus are you a high school student?
Or maybe you know a high school student.
We have a way that you or that special high school student could win twenty five hundred dollars.
I will tell you how that's coming up next plus much, much more as football Fridays in Georgia's all access pass continues right here on GPB.

From the Amazon to the Andes earthflight continues in South America.
This is a continent of City scavengers and colorful characters meet Creatures, Great, and Small.
All from the wings of birds on why Wednesday at 8, only on GPB right now.
I'm about 100 feet high traveling at about 50 miles an hour.
Just thinking about where I should go.
Next.
You have any idea visit us on our Georgia traveler Facebook page.
Gotta go.
Welcome back to the GPB, all access pass pregame show as we get ready to kick off the game between Milton and Norcross, you know, Claire.
I'm really excited about this game because there are a lot of talented players out there on the field.
Well, and this is week, two, for football Fridays, in Georgia.
So, these teams are starting to hit their stride.
They don't have those Week 1 Jitters anymore.
This is going to be a good game.
All right, we talk about Talent.
We welcome in.
Now, former Atlanta Falcon Chuck Smith who's always on top of the recruiting news and Chuck.
Let's start with the home team Milton, who are some of the guys that are making College Scouts drool.
Well, let me talk about.
First of all, the guys committed to Stanford, Nick Wilson, 3.8 GPA.
He's a road grader, man.
I mean, he gets after plays hard and the best thing about them.
He's an all the leadership classes at Milton and that's what defines the most his leadership and he's heading off to Stanford.
So he's actually right the classroom as well.
That's exactly right and going to Stanford.
You know, I mean, you got to be very smart, but he's a great player on the field.
Also, another guys, getting a ton of interest is Court ASAP.
A linebacker.
Oh, I love Court ASAP.
Let's just call him the missile because when he hit you he drives through you like a missile.
He's a special talented player.
He's got offers from, I mean, Ohio State, he's got offers from Michigan State and it's also got offers from one of the best universities in the world.
The University of Tennessee.
Now, lot of Tennessee, you're not wearing our lead orange.
I know.
All right.
Let's talk a little about the defending 6A state champion Norcross Blue Devils because they lost sixty some seniors last year.
Who's coming back?
Who are the sky?
Looking at well, to Scott to look at JB kawase.
He's a defensive lineman who likes to get after it.
He's physical.
I love the lower trunk.
He's thick.
He's got a lot of upside to get bigger.
He can rush the passer.
I mean, he only has one offer though, but guess what, before the season's over he'll have multiple offers.
Now, another guy they're looking at is another D. Lineman DeAndre plantain.
Yep, and what he does, he likes plant in people into the ground.
That's the best way to describe him.
He's gotten, offered multiple offers and his best one right now is UVA.
Well, let's just say he has many great ones.
Ends but UVA right now to the top of the list.
But I mean, this guy can move.
He's quick.
He's thick, he's everything you look for in a defensive lineman.
That's why I coach Luke.
He's won two championships.
Those wide bodies down there in the trenches.
Now, before we let you get away, Chuck, we want to get an injury update last week.
We watch DeAngelo Gibbs.
A peach tree Ridge outstanding but he was injured.
What's the update?
Well, he's the number one player in the 2015 class right now.
It looks like he's going to be able to play again this season.
So that's good.
He's not out for the season.
He's electrifying at Courtney's.
Electrifying, you see him making plays here.
Last week versus Archer, he'll be fine.
But he's just going to need a little, you know, our and our little rest and relaxation.
All right, Chuck Smith former Falcon.
Thanks for the recruiting news.
And we will see you calling the game.
Thank you and have been ready.
All week long.
They've even been getting our Grace Olson and then the action sending them in a video.
They want to share.
So Grace.
Let's check in with you.
Thank you, Claire.
That's right, the Blue Devils.
And the Eagles, take their fandom very seriously to put it lightly.
Now, if you want to see what these guys are saying.
On Twitter tonight, search of the hashtags, Rhett the M4, Milton, and beat Milton appropriately, for Norcross.
Now, the Norcross students wanted to show me just how intense their stands can get during game.
So let's take a look.
Crazy crowd.
Are we on?
GPB have seen it a few times and I can't wait to see that showing tonight.
Hopefully it's the same on Milton side.
Now, we want to share your photos and videos to so no matter where you're watching, no matter which games you're watching tonight capture that spirit and share it with GPB.
Using the hashtag Spirit worth sharing on social.
We'll send it out to our followers, Claire.
They are pumped up very much.
Now we come to one of the most important segments that we do all pre-show game long, more than 19,000 students dropped out of Georgia, high schools in the year, 2012 to 2013 over a thousand of them right here in Fulton County.
Yeah.
One of our missions is to help reduce the state's dropout rate by highlighting programs that are just helping kids.
Stay in school, homework, help tutoring, or simply just finding a place where you belong can make the difference between dropping out and getting that diploma and a group called C PAC.
Chamblee, they've been helping students find their way for more than 30 years.
Eligibility forms.
And registration forms school is out for the afternoon, but may hear Hawk.
And Monica is a giri are trying their hand at a little teaching.
All right, so you see one at a time.
It's going to spread and then you stop talking and you pay attention, Okay, this is Kat Kat stands for Community Action for teens as it shows on a t-shirt.
The cat is just you know for a cat because cat right cat is an after-school program for 14 to 18 year olds.
It's just one of the many resources for families at the center for Pan.
Asian.
The services or see packs in.
Chamblee, Victoria win is the organization's vice president and a cat grad.
I started hearing 2000 as a student in the high school program, the community action for teens program.
And actually it was the cat program and the tutors that help me study for my SATs, apply for college, when believes it also helps students break out of their shells.
Flores is a junior at Cross Keys High School.
He joined the program last spring and says it offers a low stress environment for after-school help.
You get to learn a lot like kind of individually like face-to-face.
It's not you don't have the basically though pressure of like saying the wrong right answer and being embarrassed in front of other students and these students are sharing their peer teaching skills.
This summer.
They tutored refugees at Clarkston High to help them transition to school in the US.
So it's good that they have like programs like this where they can have peer tutors which sometimes the more easier to understand because you're like nervous to talk to the teacher something.
So it's easier to ask a friend or someone of your same age.
That's why cat is a group run by students for students.
I thought being a leader was just like this one, you know, Alpha person.
That just, you know, rules.
Everybody says, okay, follow me.
I know exactly what to do.
But in reality, what we're doing today, you know, splitting up into committees that has a lot to do with leading and their work today is leading to better opportunities.
Una t's for the teens who will follow, they get to come up with their own programs, that they know is impacting them.
So not that they're just, you know, learning something and walking away.
They're actually building something that they can leave behind for the students coming after them.
For more information on Cat and the other programs that see packs offers.
You can visit their website at CPAC x.org.
And we want you to help us tackle the issue of keeping kids in school.
We have a very special video contest.
We are bringing back again.
This year.
We want to hear from you.
It is called our stop.
The Drop video contest.
And here's what you need to do.
If you want to take part, you need to make a 30 second video showing us.
Why students in your community?

Yeah, we all kept our fingers crossed.
It seemed to work out so far.
All right time.
Now to welcome in the author of four books, two on high school football in the great state of Georgia.
John Nelson a segment.
We call John.
Jon's Georgia brought to you by Georgia EMC.
All right, topic number one, this week.
The defending national champs came up from Florida to play here in Georgia.
Doesn't happen a whole lot.
But when Booker T Washington, from Miami comes to battle of the borders, we're obligated to show.
Highlights.
Let's go to Saturday night at Memorial Stadium and Tuckers open look at this fireworks, but because of the fireworks and the smoke and because Memorial Stadium is in a bit of a bowl of the fog.
You had like Ultra fog in the first half and it was all Miami Booker T. Touchdown pass, Maurice, Alexander debate Quan small 10 yards.
There the highlights do clear up because the smoke finally does clear Antonio Callaway 35 yards on the punt.
Return for the TD, Miami Booker T beats Tucker made Brian Lane, Brian Lamar a little cantankerous, maybe 19:7 with the wind.
That's it for topic.
One was topic.
Number two.
Topic.
Number two is Al Bundy scored four touchdowns in one game a Georgia player scored 70 75 percent better than Al Bundy.
And for that, let's go to Woodward Academy and Claire hold your ears.
Decatur Isaiah.
Holy.
Field.
One of the sons of the real deal, seven touchdowns on 147 yards and a kickoff 1234 3325 and 47 yards.
He has now tied for fourth, all-time for touchdowns in a game and just so, you know, Kenneth more from Calhoun has the record in Georgia, with 10.
That's it for topic to its topic 3.
I knew you'd have the record topic.
Number three is a team from Savannah is building on last year's success.
And for that, let's spend some time in the coastal Electric Cooperative and catch up with Danny Britain.
Benedictine.
They had a tough week zero loss against Greater Atlanta Christian, and yes, they're chasing after titles, but Approach is a little different.
We don't set a goal on wins.
We don't set a goal on.
You know, how many points we want to score even to win a championship.
Our goal is a much more I guess, intrinsic.
And and how we're going to practice how we're going to met handle ourselves, how we're going to lead.
And we get very specific with that.
Danny, Brits playing Liberty County tonight.
All right, halftime Westover bit, coming off the best season ever, in the history of ever.
How do they repeat with that?
All right.
Jon Nelson with Jon's Georgia brought to you by Georgia EMC.
All right?
Moments ago.
I talked with the built-in head coach Howie decristofaro and his defensive lineman Marty.
Her an about tonight's big game with Norcross.
Well, you know, we've kind of picked up the program here in last couple years and it was one of our goals to play somebody.
Very, very good.
In a non region game where we kind of Judge.
We're at, you know, we drew North At last year in the first round, you know, our kids were a little odd, but we want to play somebody like that and in the non-region schedule and Norcross had an opening and we decided hey, let's do it.
Marty talk a little about being a player.
Being a senior going against a team like Norcross with a great pedigree of two straight championships in a row.
Well, they've good coaches.
Good players graduated 66 years last year.
So we'll see what these new guys can do.
But as long as I think it's gonna be a good game.
So I'm excited for it.
Talk about what it means to you.
You guys are on Statewide TV on GPB.
Everybody's going to be watching.
Watching and you guys are going to have a good test tonight.
Yes, sir.
I'm excited.
This is a first big game for us.
I think, and if we win stays in there, with some to go on, but I'll see what's gonna happen tonight.
How we talk a little about your team, the strengths going into this one.
We know we got a lot of kids back from last year and we felt like we had a good team.
So, you know, we want to play somebody good and Norcross is kind of the measuring stick now, so it's kind of a win-win for our team, you know, if we don't win, you know, we know where we're at, you know, we've got a week off next week so we can get ready for our region schedule and, you know, we've got eight of those.
James left.
So, gives us a chance.
You know, we think the strength of our team is our defense.
We play really good defense.
All the starters are back on defense.
We have nine starters back on offense with our quarterback.
So we think we've got a pretty good football team and we needed a test and hopefully, this will be it tonight.
Coach, Marty.
Good luck tonight.
Thanks for coming on with.
Thank you very much.
Appreciate it.
All right.
We'll see how big of a test that is.
It is almost that time.
We are counting down to kickoff.
I mean, the bands are out there.
The players are out there the coaches, everybody's ready to go.
We are ready to go.
All All right.
It is the Blue Devils of Norcross.
It's the Eagles of Milton.
It is game time on GPB.
Live on GPB.
On this day, September 5th, we Mark the 1946 birthday of Baroque basara born in the sultanate of Zanzibar.
Say.
What?
You don't know anyone named Farouk basara.
Yes, you do.
He wrote and performed a tune that scientific researchers.
Say, is the catchiest song in the history of pop music.
Maybe you've heard it.
Throat basara, you probably know him as the late great, Freddie Mercury, created an Anthem that resonates with every kid who's ever played team anything, but especially football tonight in the arena, the visiting Norcross Blue Devils.
And a devil of a team.
They are Norcross first, fielded a football program back in 1923 long before Freddie Mercury was born and they have plenty of championship titles to their credit including Back-to- back State 68 titles from last year, and the year before.
This is Keith Maloofs 16th season as head coach bringing our continuity that few high school teams can match.
But consider this 6600 Norcross players graduated since last year.
So there's a lot of new Talent this year can coach Maloof with his Blue Devils in the title winners.
Again.
We shall see home field advantage tonight goes to the Milton Eagles.
This is another venerable, Georgia, high school team, the football program, the dates back to 1950 coach.
Howie decristofaro is in his fourth season with the Eagles, but he's gotten his team to the playoffs each year, since he signed on something worth bragging about tonight.
The Eagles Nest, Plays host to a matchup that hasn't been seen for decades Norcross and Milton haven't played each other since 1979.
There are plenty of worthy players on the field tonight.
But which team gets to Blair.
Let's kick it off.
You'll see it all live tonight on football Fridays in Georgia.
We are here in Alpharetta at Milton, high school for Malcolm.
Tonight of a pair of undefeated 6A schools in Norcross, Blue Devils, taking on to building the Eagles.
Hello and welcome.
I'm Larry Smith.
Welcome to the GPB alongside Chuck spent the former NFL player and college coach.
No relation.
Do we do like each?
Well, we like each other.
We kind of got to relationship the same for headphones going on.
Exactly age age, where agent.
There you go.
We're aging.
Well.
That's right.
That's right.
Norcross.
Speaking of Aging.
Well right now Keith Maloof.
We talked about the two coaches here.
He is somebody who really has just done everything for these boot up a program.
Well, the best way to describe norcross's impact impacting, the community and impact, when it comes to state championships.
They've won two in a row and just think about this the challenge to get the number 34 coach move.
It drives him, but he's really not only changed the culture of Norcross.
But in that City also, meanwhile an old enough coach, how Egypt decristofaro would love to do the Same thing with these Eagles an import from Florida trying to make something happen here building.
Well, you know, it's about playing some ball and you know it because he's 32 years coaching.
He's been down in Florida, but Milton has never won a playoff game.
And the challenge for them is to get to the point where they are like Norcross, but his challenge now is and let's just start today by competing against his Norcross teaming and maybe get a big victory.
Yeah big litmus test for his Club deny.
Can they beat the powerful Norcross Blue Devils?
They will take a shot at it here on their home field in just a moment.
Walking out, our third member of our broadcast team, John Nelson, down to the sidelines.
John.
Thank you very much.
Gentlemen, good evening to you.
Good evening, everyone.
However, you are accessing us.
Whether it's here on GPB TV gpb.org or the GPB Sports app.
I know one of the guys in the booth really likes defense, and if you like defensive guys that are going to be heading to the next level making a lot of noise.
This is the game for you.
Let's start you off with Norcross JB kawase.
That's the name that has to be circled, underlined and exclamation for you, believe it or not.
The light came on for kawase, going up against Lorenzo Carter.
He only has one offer on the table.
Table right now and it's Jacksonville State look for that to change as the season goes on as his numbers in continue to grow and grow and it comes to Saks hurries and tackles on the flip side.
Let's go to Milton Court, ASAP 14 and your program.
Number one in Milton's Hearts.
You want to talk about someone who's going to chase after the football?
He's going to do it all night long.
Don't be surprised if Norcross avoids Court ASAP and goes the other way with their offensive sets.
He's got a lot of offers on the table.
Able over a dozen right now including one, that's near and dear to one of the guys in the booth and I'm not talking about the directional, Illinois school that Larry went to, it is the University of Tennessee.
And we know that Chuck is going to be paying attention to court ASAP is the season goes along.
So guys, let's go ahead and light this candle.
I Now Pronounce You.
Larry and Chuck?
Oh Michelle, we've got to Chuck.
You know, we're talking just now with John, got our audio working there.
Tennessee.
You want to make a comment about you go.
Did you do any kind of lobbying for the balls before the game?
No, that wouldn't be right.
But nonetheless, it's good.
That he has an offer from Tennessee.
But he also hasn't from Michigan State, you know, he has lots of different offers, but the guy's a great player.
We're going to keep an eye on them to do.
I tell You.
What if he doesn't want to go there will take me to Eastern Illinois.
Couple of guys.
Jimmy Garoppolo, Tony Romo, Mike Shanahan, Sean, Payton.
Yeah.
We got a few fellas up there.
We'll wait on that.
Okay, we'll talk more about.
We'll talk about that later.
That's right.
We've we've got a fantastic game here.
They'll Norcross has won the kickoff as we've got.
They're going to receive and Milton in the blue is going to kick off.

And to your right.
It is a perfect time for football, little warm, a little steamy, but we love it on the turf here in Milton and Alpharetta.
Glad you're along with this right here to go.
Fill, Georgia kickoff.
Build a skill.
Build a career.
Do it now and go build georgia.com of on the reception on the return.
I should say 15 yard return by Jared Simkins a sophomore and Norcross will take over from there.
Well, you know, coach Maloof talked about, they have to have a big play on special teams today and he tried to make one there.
But dangerous starting out.
But didn't get him in trouble that time.
Beautiful night.
Isn't it?
Beautiful night?
Fantastic night, Chuck?
Norcross.
Now starting on your own 21, that's Barker Griffin.
511, senior their quarterback.
It's around the corner.
Josh Alexander number 7, For the big game right?
There is we check out the network starting off.
Its right now for these two and opening Devils two-time defending state champion plantain.
We talked about the pregame davis-jones Madden and benedetta, almost entirely new law on the front form Jared, painting it receiver borders, buildings, and the backfield Swanson, you're tied in and symptoms.
All this a sponsored by region.
By the way.
To give your quarterback is Griffin.
Parker right now, first down at the 28th for the Blue Devils.
Parker's long snap counts, hot in the backfield.
It's c'mere.
C'mere Billings right there.
Didn't get anywhere.
As we check out that opportunistic, Eagles defense.
Steinhaus, we talked about in the pregame.
What a story for him to talk a lot about him tonight for an Watson and Collins the linebackers behind.
There's a young man staff member to linebacker in the state of Georgia, according to Rivals fall.
Out, and well, Senor backfield the corners, mesda and Wilkins, OB fortune, and Jordan Parisian at the safety positions as we go.
Now, no gain on that.
Play cricket on the first down.
Nice.
Stop that time by the militant defense just chasing the ball.
It's just supposed to do.
That's right.
That ants in his pants.
Third down and about six yards with the 55 Yard penalty.
They're always believed that the team that makes the most mistakes is always one of the team that system says that.
That's where things that we talked about with hopefully eliminate your mistakes when you're on the road in a hostile environment.
This is big right here.
Third down and six.
Now, Barker out of the gun.
Looking downfield up high and that's Alexander.
Who can come up with your 259 senior one catch last week for 30 yards.
Chuck one more.
Look at this one.
Well, excellent job.
Excellent pocket by Norcross voltage of lime.
Just, I mean tries to make a great play.
Can't pull it in, can't pull it in.
Milton was in the to deep Zone.
They had two safeties deep so they were giving that up.
So we got to keep an eye on that for Norcross coming back in exploiting that.
So for us down nice defensive stop to begin the game here for Milton and With the ball like Bingham is now in to punch.
First, your punter or placing another penalty here.
Referees Henry Evans referee very McRae, be Fred Jones, Tim.
Jackson, Charles height, Nathan Williams.
Dave, Hawke was Chuck Assam before the game go out and get it, get in a huddle just like teams do.
And you're out to 3 and make the think the charge.
Hey, they want to get this.
They want to be the team to get every call, right?
Oh, yeah, these cruise travel all around the state working together in unison.
They got to come together.
They got to be focused because it's game time for them to hang them on the punch.
It's a short one.
Out of Bounds at about the 44 and that's where Milton will start a 27-yard punt right there for Bingham.
And we will see the Milton offense for the first time.
The Eagles want to know a beat Alpharetta right here in the same field 9:43 a week ago.
And we talked before in the pregame Howie decristofaro.
Really wants to see what his Doom is made of here, just taking on the PowerHouse Norcross.
Team during the second week of the Season off to McLeod's our quarterback, bringing the eagle to the line.
Now.
He's in the shotgun.
On first down the mountain eagles.
The cloud to pass complete Chris Turner, he dropped the ball incomplete pass.
Just took his eyes off the ball, out of the Swing screen.
Good.
Good protection.
Also again, now, look at the Milton starting off and presented by regions.
That's Weatherby, Nutter.
Harry Wilson front will bond and OB Fortune.
Your wideouts Craner Turner than in the backfield.
Jake English is your tight end.
That's a regions office.
Milton wants to snap the ball.
Every 15 seconds.
I got him on the clock.
All right.
Let it slow this time.
They got it all.
You're not there to Chris.
Totally, very short gain, as we check out.
Now, the Norcross defense, Jamie Kowalski.
As we talked about before, call his name a lot tonight, Dorian Kephart came and brought Max and demons would talk all along the front room linebackers.
Come on, good.
Dear Jim own pleasure and devons twin brother davontea, if he's on the other outside Williams and akka at the corners, August 24, other and Jared Cole.
Also there in the safeties.
Well, that 2 times 2, it's too tight, the two sets of twins.
How long on that on that Norcross?
Exactly.
We'll get into that two coaches.
Initially way, how I keeps these keeps them apart and figures out, which one is which, as well defense right here.
And there, they are right there.
The Arca brothers.
And that Norcross defense, that's Frederick.
Akka number three.
Ferdinand.
Akka is number two.
That's one way to keep them apart.
So, now again, soar across Turn down big game still on his feet.
First down for Milton, 16-yard gain from nickel brisker, the senior replay here.
They run out of pistol.
This is a simple die.
Try to get the big boys up front.
They got five returning starters on that old line.
It's early, try to knock their will come and write down hill.
Nice Cut here, does a good job getting downhill?
Great job by the offensive line.
Nice start here from Milton first down.
He move into a little bit deeper in the Norcross territory power play.
Play.
Chris Turner again - gained return brings up second down and this is the fast tempo.
The Chuck was talking about about eight seconds back on the line.
Up-tempo.
Try to keep Norcross off balance, so they can't substitute.
Turner, again, short about a yard short of a first down planes at third down.
Now, for the Milton Eagles.
Good job by Norcross Milton.
Just ran the same play three times in a row.
They just sit the receiver in the different motion.
I understand.
It must be something in the middle.
We'll keep an eye on that third down and 1.
Now from the 25 breaststroke good, surge up front and Norcross, front seven, denying the first down.
Fourth down now for Milton great defense here.
As you see guys.
You got the big guys in here.
Good job.
Stepping in everybody getting where they need to be.
Excellent job by plants and good job by JB kawase.
Guys.
They ran the exact same play for plays in the road.
Going for it on fourth down now.
Great defense there.
Drew Ledger from the long run.
A linebacker to the next three.
Let's see.
If they go back to it.
I would look for an outside run here.
Changing the play here.
That's brisker.
They played.
He's got it first down and more Chris Kirk to the 10, touchdown Milton.
28 yards on the ground for the senior Micco brisker guy, five plays in a row, they win.
This is just a simple die power.
Let me show you the trying to do here.
We're going to come down here to go to double double right here, and they're getting down here.
What you want to do is you want to double the nose guard, and try to get to the second level.
Great job by Milton power.
Football is what we just saw.
That was great blocking right there up front, number 51, Nick Wilson.
How's the tcsg replay right there?
Here's your extra point up.
And that is goodbye.
Ethan sudha, the Junior and so very quickly.
Now is the hometown Milton Eagles on the board first wanting to prove that they belong among the states Elite Milton on top by a touchdown.
We're back with more after this.
Football Fridays in.
Georgia on GPB is made possible in part.
By Regions Bank.
It's time to expect more George's Electric.
Worship Corporation lighting, the way technical college system of Georgia, learn more earn, more Cigna, go, you and viewers like you.
Thank you.
A measles outbreak in New York City.
The worst kind of contagion.
It's Airborne if vaccination rates drop, what are the consequences?
There's just so much information.
Who am I supposed to trust the science behind vaccines?
Calling the shots?
On why Wednesday at nine only on GPB during this performance, one student will drop out of high school be there for your big finish.
Welcome back to Milton High School, the Eagles on Top seven.
Nothing water, run seven plays, 54 yards and two minutes.
29 seconds, Chuck.
They went right down the field.
Exactly what they wanted to draw First Blood.
Well, that's a power play.
And design is for Micco brisker to go right behind the center.
What they say, she wanna bang it or you want to bend it.
And what happens here is these two guys, right here.
They're trying to rub him all the way back to get to this linebacker.
He's either going to bang it or bend it.
He bends it, such that he was the star of that drive.
Three carries 52 yards.
Again, hit 52 of the 54 yards, on that drive and gives his team.
The seven.
Nothing lead.
After got the hair like beast mode last night.
Yeah.
I'm like a moon that play.
Did he did the Seahawks?
Guy just bouncing off all over the place.
So, Milton on top 7.
Nothing Norcross about to receive here on the kickoff.
Ethan sudha.
Lining up.
Deep In The End Zone, that's Jared Simpkins on the Touchback.
We come out.
Fortune 21st and 10 now 220 for the Blue Devils.
What a start for Milton.
Anytime you play a game to philosophy is talking to both of the coaches.
They said the same thing.
We want to start fast.
We want to get our opponents on their heels.
That's what you want to do.
When you're playing against a team that's used to starting fast like Norcross.
We got a house already coming into an old clothes went over Tucker and week one baby, Brookwood 2110 a week ago, Simkins in motion.
22 c'mere Billings, you know, Chuck one question that coach Keith Maloof was talking about.
We talked to him.
This week was in terms of.
Just the big question is offensive line.
He said, you know that Tucker defense was so big, they're able to able to throw around that.
The question is, you know, Milton is very big up front on both sides of the line.
Well, yeah, you got its kind of figuring out.
That's one thing.
They did get behind a Tucker.
They Them out, second down now and nine.
Simpkins in motion, it's Parker looking left.
Picked off going the other way.
Now that big defensive line diving in and touchdown 24 yard or turn.
What a play.
That was.
What a start here for Milton.
Got sport ASAP.
The linebacker we talked about in chunk.
What a play here and all of a sudden Norcross down two touchdowns.
Well, will you talking about starting fast?
These guys are Mario Andretti right now, I mean Court ASAP gets in the throwing Lane will break it down here in a second after this kid.
What a way to start if you're building to feel the reputation, it gets a bit, the big boys.
Shoot on for the extra point and that's good 14-nothing Milton.
And to your point, you know, coach coach.
Really tell you what, a tcsg replay coach could have gone to a better start to this game.
Oh, he's just reading the quarterbacks.
I getting the throwing Lane, playing the slant, he was throwing a slant, great job, great athletic ability.
This guy's an acrobat.
Look at this abandoned city stepped out of Bounds at the fork.
Well, they must've now.
Yeah, you might have stepped out of bounds, but It's a touchdown.
Look at this.
Great job running.
This, what I like in this effort.
He's out of bounds.
No question about that.
No question about that.
Like my tell you what?
I love the athleticism on that play.
That's a pretty impressive.
Let's go down to John Freeman on the sidelines.
Now, let's go ahead and start the hype machine for the man dressed in Orange upstairs.
Who's been, keeping an eye on 14?
Blew the entire night.
This is probably the biggest game in the history of Milton football, how it occurs to Pharaoh, has been all about building programs to the A point to where they're consistently successful, Milton has not ever won a playoff game.
They want to play in game back in the early 50s and that is it.
No playoff.
No postseason wins in a region titles.
No nothing.
And they've got an early statement on the defending defending 6A champs.
This could be that first step.
So that first ever playoff run that Milton has been looking for and craving for so long and John.
No question.
In fact, I think going 68 win seasons in the entire history of this program, but very quickly that symptoms Flag on the play, bring tackle right there by number 20, 27 yard return.
We'll see what the flag is.
And Larry again, if this is going Norcross, they keep setting themselves back with penalties when they have a great return.
That kills your momentum.
Nice return.
Lucas.
Nezha there on the tackle.
You're exactly right.
So with this, be the third penalty think you're right, the third one would John made a good point.
Think about the history of Milton, you have won a playoff game, you invite Norcross, the default two-time defending state champs here.
The play and you know, this is a statement game.
You couldn't ask for a better start.
I like the fact that they're doing coach decristofaro, bring in the big boys and you want to compete.
And that's what he said.
He wanted how they competes going to Define his team.
Yeah, you're not even halfway through their first quarter right now and already its 14.
Nothing Milton is on top and two.
Point third penalty already, 25 penalty yards against the Blue Devils, they start first and 10, Parker with the handoff.
It's Billings again.
You know, it's really interesting.
Milton's playing with 60, be there playing a dime.
Look anytime Norcross goes to four wide receivers.
They're spreading them out.
But when you can stop the run with 5D 4D, lineman in the linebacker in a dime, it helps you really nice start.
Nice scheme for the militant defense and security had to your point.
Exactly curious to see what adjustments your cross is going to make here on second down.
Eight to go.
Not much of the running game so far.
They will run.
Again, it's Billings again.
Junior Billings big game last week against Brookwood.
He went for over 200 yards on the ground.
Nice job by Marty her.
An excellent job striking this block.
And that's what you like to see for the militant defense.
Nice technique.
Low pads clogging up the middle.
It's what you want.
Like clogging up the drain at home.
Just clog it up.
Nothing comes through third analog to right now.
That's right.
Call the plumber.
Parker going to keep it in.
Play didn't fool.
Anybody in that Milton defense gives out by Ryan Kenzo.
Good job.
Excellent job getting off as blocked out.
That was the quarterback power.
That was a quarterback power and that's sort of like if you understand, this is what made Tim Tebow.
Famous quarterback.
Takes the ball.
Runs back in there.
Trying to again, bang it or bend it same kind of play, but this time was the quarterback.
Nice team defense.
To play by Michael Collins right there.
This 61 220 senior in the guy.
He beat was the Andre plant.
We talked about the two star attacker has.
So many different offers right now on the table, a lot of schools including Virginia, looking at him, but he just read took him out, right?
Out of the play, took the block out of the play and made the big Play There.
Michael Collins on the punt.
Their fair catch, 35-yard punt.
And Milton back in business again.
Hey, you know, great field position to second time.
They've had the ball and they had, they both have been in the, the 40 yard range to start.
Now.
Let's roleplay here.
Let's act like we're coach decristofaro.
If you're on Milton's offense, what would you do?
If it ain't broken, wish it were not so Norcross had no problem with it all run.
I think you go with the horse.
It brung.
Ya, exactly, right.
Micco brisker, right up.
You going to run to power right behind that Center?
Right behind, Tyler Perry.
He's no niggles.
We talked about.
Why do they won?
Their only game on.
Ready this year right here in this building in South Florida a week ago.
As Chuck mentioned in John McCain a few minutes ago.
We're only ten win season was way back in 1952 when they lost a play-in game.
They didn't get to the playoffs.
They would their only win this practice but six winning packets of last 20 years, including eight and four year ago.
No coach has ever left Milton High to with a winning record.
Occurred.
As you can see, a few of the famous alumni coming through here, including Sean Bailey, the former, Georgia, Bulldog, but coach Howie, we talked about him and coming in here and the Dom and he's done long time for rhydian.
Yep.
It would joke with him the other day.
He's a big.
Led.
Zeppelin fan is a good.
Look at him right there.
How would the Christopher?
Oh forth here, 20 and 14 here.
He said, hey, you know, I wanted to get out of quota.
I like the style of football we play on Georgia and the coaching.
A lot of is better.
Hope he said it's better.
He did he did first down now, back to pass and all who the hands of his receiver.
That's will bond, can come up with that and it's second down with the tendency breaker quarterback.
Drops back has.
Good protection goes right through those mitts to throw eyes on the ball.
Gotta catch that one.
Now to make that catching nice throw, nice throw on that from by Austin, Cloud began to quick temper right now.
Second and 10 from the 43.
It's a handoff this time looking inside.
That's brisker tough to bring down.
Correction, that's Al Beach.
Three.
Not 33.
Excellent events.
Here at a slant to the right.
Good call, good call right here.
Excellent defense guys.
By Norcross a slanted on that one.
Looking for that play.
Good, adjustment that time by no crosses defense.
Great play there by Dorian catch card number 58 already at his 13th tackle on the season.
Coach said, he could end up being one of the best I've ever had.
Six foot two, 71.
He's a senior.
Trying to go Dave that's MacLeod looking for fortune and he overthrew him that brings up fourth down to the punt team for the Eagles Norcross said, you know, we're not going to sit back and take this exit pressure.
Then sit a six-man pressure setting them at the quarterback.
Good job.
I also found get the ball out of his hands.
That's one of those plays.
We say, let's just take a shot.
We've already gotten field position where the 40 yard somewhere with the 42 yard line.
Let's take the chance of playing good defense.
Maybe we can go up 20.
And I understand the philosophy behind that well to your point, no brisker touches in that series.
And meanwhile, the quarterback the clown now 043 passing.
So it brings up fourth down sudha.
In the punt punt coverage.
Is that a premium here?
Remember folks in the loops that we have to break one in this games, got to watch out.
Into the hands of some things that time, short game 34-yard to Hans.
Over 40.
Ryan Wilson illegals.
Ryan Wilson, only tackle the air.
As we take a look at the Norcross Sidelines and coach.
Keith Maloof 19-yard.
We talk about all the winds down 14.
Nothing but he looking around.
Well remember, they lost 55.
Nothing last year in the first game came back and won the State title.
Those guys know how to come back and play, under pressure, cook screen outside and equate tackle, right there.
outstanding play by the Milton Defender, Devin Wilkins, the senior number 21, It just gives you a look Chuck at just how rough this game is already better.
Still in the first quarter.
That means the game is just getting good.
Well, that's part of it.
I love the philosophy of lot of teams.
We've had to get out there and bloody our noses and that's playing hard.
That's old-school.
Talk a a four yard loss right there in the past Alexander.
So already Norcross now second and long Barker from the gun looking left trying to go up high and it's caught.
Krylon crane senior goes down and what again?
You got Milton playing in a 2d Zone.
That means the safeties are far back.
There's always a little hole in there.
You see?
They found it right there and that'll be there unless they change their sitting back in the zone playing at 9:00.
So Norcross on the move for the first time.
21-yard pickup on that play.
They go back to the ground.
Turner Billings number 22.
Sap on the tackle like, see a Parisian come up to Amman.
Jordan parisians, come up.
Its safety supports going to be real important.
Sap makes the initial.
Hit Parisian comes up from the safety.
For one thing there.
You want to go down here of your the running back.
All right, see coach move over there.
We kind of yelling said, you got to go downhill young man.
Don't go lateral, go, vertical.
We are game second and 7 from the Norcross 48.
Barker looking left again for Alexander.
He caught the ball for a short game.
That'll bring up third and about six for the Blue Devils.
It's like Junior.
Watson had a good Rush then put pressure on Griffin.
Barker Quick Pass.
I was nice job.
You want to make the quarterback feel pressure, you want them to throw out of a, well, not get comfortable active.
One yard gain.
Barker and the shotgun he's operated out of that.
For most of this game here in the first quarter short drop.
Feels the pressure gets out of it and he's brought down.
As you see right here, at Junior Watson is at the nose guard.
He's going to beat his man.
He's gonna get pressure.
Get up field.
Will have a great get off.
Powers.
What comes off the ball?
Does a great job getting up field, wrapping them up?
He's been active.
Good job.
Great job in curvature by Milton brings up fourth down.
Fair catches calm for 38-yard punt, Nathan crater there on the receiving end as Milton gets the ball.
For the third time is jr. Mama parents, our family never come.
So Milton 14, nothing right now, surprising the two-time defending Champion, Norcross Blue Devils here.
In Alpharetta.
Larry Smith, Chuck Smith.
John Nelson on the call here on GPB, 90 seconds to go here in the first quarter.
Austin.
McLeod.
The senior.
In a quarterback.
Handoff brisker not much there.
It's about 3 yards that brings up second down that power came tumbling down hill.
I'm fired up, Diamond Cloud to pass first completion.
Gets it to Fortune up near midfield for a first down for Milton.
Remember, you got five returning starters on?
The Milt Thompson provide.
Let's focus on this protection here.
No one's even within three or four feet of them.
Excellent job getting the ball to Fortune.
They're growing on Rhythm.
I like what they're doing right now.
Keep them off balance, run pass pass running.
Don't do this.
The entire.
Our game?
Oh, it's a big stop upfront.
Dorian gift card was all up into the backfield.
As soon as Chris Turner got that ball and stopped him for a loss on first down.
Computer nice play, watch their d -line coach.
Marcus Jackson, doing a good job before the game over on the Norcross side.
Excellent job.
Let's park over 40 offers to play in college.
We would bother them and he'll get better as the season goes on second down.
Now, it's Turner works his way to Midfield gets a couple of yards with brings up third and long now for the Eagles.
The question now is, Will Milton try to get one more play before the end of the quarter.
Looks like the thing won't.
So the fast play fast tempo offense, working its wonders, from Milton, a score on offense, a score on defense and it's the Eagles pitching a shutout through 12 minutes right now.
14.
Nothing.
What a nice so far for the home team, trying to go to and, oh, and a big resounding win and taken.
Hold on, but a lots of football to go Milton on top for now, we take a break and that goes for on GPB.

Grace.
Grace.
Got the hair down.
Go Grace.
He's were Knowlton colors.
Don't tell anybody though.
Now, she didn't know she does a great job that she's an outstanding job for it's okay.
First play of the second quarter, fumble on the pitch.
And Norcross has the ball.
It changed sides of the field and Fortune shames just like that.
I think they're saying is an incomplete pass.
I'll make the other calling it a forward pass.
It's got a one more time John.
Let's put you up.
They do a fake.
They do an option play.
Well, it's not going to change now.
We don't have instant replay and see if it seems forward.
Whew, that was backwards unless my straight line is I did tilted a little bit tough break, Blurred Lines, Jared Cole thought, he had a recovery on that that but what things are going your way that that's that's how it always happens.
When things are going your way.
You get all the breaks but you know referees.
I mean up here.
They're what they're human too.
It happens.
Should the ball, go back?
Well, that's, that's exactly.
It's why they're moving the ball.
Is that if it's not a fumbled and it, yeah, back to Midfield, is where we go for this.
Fourth down now, and sudha in to punt for the Eagles, Milton very fortunate.
That's not a Norcross ball in their own territory.
Sudha, gets it away.
Simpkins on the return slips down.
We gain some self great open, field tackle right there.
43 yards, on the kick Eagles are on the hunt right now.
Great coverage spreading out, and that's what you look for.
Excellent job.
Want to cover it here, catches the ball up, everybody spaced-out loaded, great spacing.
I mean, they're hunting.
Let me know when those Eagles saw him.
That was like Predator and prey great coverage.
That's what you want in a big game like this.
Now Norcross.
You got to say, you know, where I'm on Milton's defense.
They got to go to length of the field new quarterback in the game right now.
Antonio map is in the game holds onto it and so right away, a little bit of a change here, the start, the second quarter Santonio map.
The Junior.
In a quarterback.
Nothing.
Now, they take them out that that I think that's a called play a formation.
They want to get him in there.
He's probably an electrifying Runner.
Yeah.
Little bit of a wildcat play right there.
He's reserved running back.
Yeah, Junior.
58 156.
And they said they would have special packages, bad snap and it goes through the end zone for a safety.
Nothing going right early on here for Norcross.
Look like they were trying to do a direct snap to Jamir Billings the running back, just take one more.
Look at it right here is just he needs to get down and you got to make that play, you know, it was low, but when the coach moves going to say doesn't matter, you got to feel that ball at that point and least fall on it and live to fight another down.
But as we said some time that the winning and the culture, when you start seeing it changing, Milton's getting all the breaks.
I mean, those are the kind of things that Happy for you, but you know what though?
It's really interesting on that play that he wasn't able to get down on it back.
You got em, you got to make that play.
Yeah, back-to-back plays right for Norcross, is they started that series trying with a bit of a wildcat offense?
No quarterback in.
Barker was not in for either play.
We saw map.
Yep.
And salted, he got a short gain and then you bring in a look like again, trying to change things up.
But Jamir Billings then the direct snap and he didn't make the catch and his Turns out.
It's now 16.
Nothing Milton Wright top and they get the ball back.
Well, I talked to the coach Maloof and the one thing he talked about is the inexperience of this young team.
Remember, they lose 62 seniors.
So he said they're in experience leads to inconsistency.
And that's what you're seeing here.
It's shown up when they were in Tucker.
That inconsistency.
Make turnovers big plays, they came back, but also give credit to Milton for making sure they make the plays.
Supposed to sew on the punch Melton.
That's Ferdinand.
Akka on the return 15-yard return on that.
Contents will note once again in great field position leading 16, nothing.
Makes your Crank That correction that's crater on the return.
Akka, Nathan trainer on the return there for Milton as they go.
Now, First and Ten for the 49.
Your Playmakers have to make plays now for North all, you have to step up.
There's that same dive brisker first down and more out to the 30 inside the 30.
You talked about you made the beast mode comparison.
He looks just like these modes in Seattle.
I mean this yard gain.
This is the same one back power, you bang it.
He bend it again.
Wow him.
He just runs through and puts his head down.
That was dangerous.
Now, when you run a guy over like that, he runs with authority.
He's a violent Runner.
That's the best way to describe this running back.
Micco brisker and brisker are already.
76 yards.
Already in this game on just five carries.
Fredrik, I can get them knees, bent a little bit.
Keep that head up.
You still want to save tackling and you're going to get two big back.
You do want to put your head down.
Stoppage in play here.
Referees.
John.
Well, one of the players in norcross's talking to the Raptor, trying to calm him down.
Who's that?
Well, that's Cathcart Dorian kiss cart.
Yep, they might want to take him out to calm down a little bit.
There you go.
Coach to move.
Talk to the young man.
Keep your head in the game now and things.
Don't go to your way.
You gotta stay focused.
Is Marcus Jackson former, Georgia, Bulldog?
Really fired up down there and kick him out of the lineup.
He's been a big part of the defensive effort here at Norcross has been able to manage against these Eagles.
So first down inside the 30, quick throw complete first down again.
For Milton McLeod to Chris Franklin.
The senior and the Eagles are on the move again.
Wow, look here.
Great job here guys, that pistol now has that has everybody in the Box.
Meaning they have seven guys, trying to stop the run with Micco brisker.
Now, that's opening up there playing his own playing off, so they won't get beat deep loud again, this time, the handoff to brisker.
Still on his feet gain of about six.
Brings up second down and Chuck to your point.
As we move very quickly.
Hurry talk to a coach decristofaro talked about yelled this offense in the move.
So quickly that hand the other games.
We noticed early on by the fourth quarter.
Those guys are really, really sucking wind just exhausted handoff again, this time they catch brisker in the backfield.
Lot of white shirts there and you're right.
It wears you out.
It wears you out.
When you keep running this pistol, dive here.
They bang it.
This time, x and job stepping up by the Norcross defense gang, tackling a host.
Kevin, good bear.
Timon, pleasure among the white shirts there to stop Driscoll for once in this game, third down, and five now faint pistol.
Look, trying to get the ball to OB fortune in the corner.
Lot of content.
That's an easy call for the referee to make.
Well, I'll tell you, what's not easy.
Is this scheme right now?
They're going in a pistol.
Look, back behind the quarterback.
You got to play the High -risk Hersman winning on the dive.
Holding on offense, okay.
Okay, interference on defense, no replay the down, get a break there, man.
This bread off office to the triple option spread kind of look.
I'm going to tell you it's changed the face of college football.
I mean of high school football is football as we know it tough to stop now.
So replay the down third and five from the 14.
Fortune playing both ways.
Number one.
The receiver was the intended target there.
Has offers from Wake Forest, Minnesota, Iowa State, lot of division, one schools and did this young man McCloud handoff up, the middle Rose to a first down.
That's Chris Turner on the carry.
But he'll be short, 4th down and inches and they're going to go for it.
Watson's with this leg.
Drive is pushing keep driving, pushing driving.
I mean you talk about a great battle.
Nick Wilson that guard Jamin broad next payment Woodcock.
I mean he's offered to the deepest of lines are going at it and after Turner again, same play and it looks like he has the first down.
Running behind Nick Wilson, headed to Stanford.
They are going at it out there.
JP kawase, Dorian Cathcart.
This is a battle, one of the best out of us in a long time, time in the trenches and are saying that he was short on fourth down.
He did not make it so Norcross homes, as big, big, big defensive stand for the, who knows.
Because now you got assumed that they were guaranteed three from where they would kick it.
You take now you take it would have been at minimum.
They score 20, 30 or 19.
So now you look at the momentum, your job by Norcross holding them.
Let's see what kind of offense at the Blue Devils.
Come out.
Now, back to a traditional, looks like that.
Griffin is back in the game.
I We're going to hand off to Billings.
Up there.
It's pretty bad boys.
Big fellows, big fellows.
Know, we only about 30 minutes from the varsity know them slaw.
Dogs are good.
Now.
One-yard gain second and nine.
Barker looking to throw has his man complete but he slips down.
That's Jared Simpkins short game third down.
For Norcross some challenges with a snap right now.
Kyle Jones that snap their great catch by Griffin.
Barker that would have been another opportunity for Milton to create a turnover.
The see we get Jon Nelson on the side to keep an eye on that.
See what's going on Third and one.
Short swing pass.
Now to Billings.
Great tackle right there out in the open.
Good job by Lucas mezzo.
As in a senior read this perfectly Chuck.
This is a swing pass simple.
They're expecting them to make a play.
Great job right there by nezha gets out there, and that's what he's supposed to do.
Coach talked about playing with discipline playing smart something.
They haven't always done in the past.
I'm just telling you right now, Millions pushing all the buttons.
Yeah.
Now, there's no coach, decristofaro calls him.
The Eraser says, he's the best actor.
He's seen his 33 years.
That's impressive.
Took two guys out of the Game last week, the Eraser benches 300 pounds the Eraser.
What a Nick, think about that.
Now, that's it.
You got to earn that nickname, the Eraser like that.
I like that.
So racer.
So don't calls a timeout.
We'll keep it here as we talk about as the to get a good look at him and you know, we talked about against her and see what's going on down the field.
Let's check in with John.
All right, now that I have my homework Assignment from Chuck, keeping an eye on quarterback Center.
Snap was over on the Norcross Sidelines and the offensive unit before they came out for this particular Drive was trying to fire each other up and saying, okay, we given them enough leeway.
We were in rookie mode and I'm guessing this is a Gameboy reference.
So yeah, I just dated myself with that again.
We've gone rookie mode.
Now, it's time to go to Hall of Fame mode.
Coach Maloof was talking to Dorian Kip card.
Also saying that whatever was going on in the pile.
Something else that Chuck is familiar with.
It.
Doesn't matter.
I need you.
Out there on the field.
To focus.
What's going on out there?
Doesn't matter right now.
Just focus on the next play but punch right there and filled it at Midfield.
Thank you.
John number 19.
That's why they pay you the big bucks.
John that Insight.
We've got to keep an eye on that because you can't lose your composure.
You got it.
That's part of being a young team in Norcross.
We know that, you know, but Milton, they're not worried about the two state championships right now.
They're trying to earn their right to say, guess what we want to be a contender 33 yards.
John Du Pont is once again, it's Milton in great field position first and 10 at Midfield and here they come.
Again just the way they jump out.
They run right out onto the field not even huddle.
They go right to the line and get lined up, empty backfield from a cloud on first down.
Great, grab there by Fortune, lose all the wall.
It's loose your cross thinks they have it and they do that.
One of the twins.
Is that Frederick.
Don't forget it.
That's Damien.
Williams era recovery.
Nice job.
Great job.
Putting it, putting your shoulder body that great tackle.
Look at this helmet hits right on the ball.
Hard to hold the ball when you get hit like that nice job momentum changer Kendrick, Brady forced a fumble Williams recovers Norcross.
Now on first down out to Billings on the pass.
He gets it close to Midfield.
Nice play on first down by the Blue Devils.
Yeah.
Nice.
Nice player.
Swing pass and a safe pass playing smart.
Good job right here.
Get the ball out of his hands.
Nice job.
I like the quarterback gripping.
Barker.
Did that time.
It's just safe, bro.
Get some yards and let's start building up.
Some more momentum will never sound 16.
Nothing have gotten very little going on offense and obviously no points on the board trying to get some momentum here.
Suck it down at for Barker play blown dead.
See what the call is.
It's like at Norcross, call the timeout.
We'll take a break as well, with Milton in control in this 1631 on the clock in the second quarter two-time defending Champion.
Blue Devils struggling right now, losing to Milton 16.
Nothing back here from Alpharetta in a moment.

My son's up.
My son's a lot of time.
My two boys to get on their dad.
It only costs 99 cent.
Yeah, right, son, do the free ones.
I got a million apps on my phone.
That's right.
What what a, what a defense second week in a row that Milton has had a pick six.
They had one last week and if you just joined us for tastes a few outstanding linebacker, a pick, six, making a 14-nothing game Barker on the cape for Norcross.
He's Into Milton territory and down the close to, and appears to have a first down for the Blue Devils.
Excellent job that time by Griffin Berkeley.
You gotta gotta keep turning it up.
Good job running the ball.
They ran an option to the left.
He had the option to fidget or it cuts up.
Nice job.
Nice Cut.
We call that c.o.d., You know, that's there for change of Direction.
There we go.
Okay.
Oh, come new for you, you know, like it.
I like your repertoire.
Sure.
I appreciate that.
Will change of Direction.
Steinhaus there on the stop first down now, Parker under Center.
Drops back.
Looking for his receiver.
It's caught.
Number 14, Jared Pinkney, first time, we've called his number tonight.
A big X receiver 65 228, the senior Chuck.
Yeah, big guy goes down, finds a hole in the in this zone defense and just they're making safe, throws.
I like what they're doing.
I like what Norcross is going Griffin bar.
Forgiveness, safe throws.
Let's not do any Crossing route.
Let's just go do curls and let's do flare routes with our running back.
Moving the ball 7-yard gain right there second down and Now from the Eagles, 40 Barker, they hand off read.
Well outstanding defensive play by Marty her an the senior for a big loss and now third and very long for Norcross.
Alright, let's look at her an right here.
They end up with are trying to do is let it go.
See, they're trying to go here.
They're trying to go here, as you see, the block those guys and what happened this her and comes here.
So what happens is they did an excellent job Milton's up, slant to the leper and does a good job because Noah cross block block, the scheme's going to the right 6, yard loss, third and nine.
Now for Norcross, that's Barker over the middle.
It's too high.
Intended for Pinkney is 65 senior, but instead it's fourth down and the Milton defense holds Amendment not break.
Norcross had good momentum, but couldn't keep it going.
They've got to punt the ball away.
Well, yeah, that that last top of the loss where we were back in and show that that you you gotta that set them back.
So, think about this, instead of having a short third and three, they ended up having a long yardage for third and nine it.
Huge difference.
but now, All bouncers.
Deep inside the 20.
Mark it down to 16 33-yard punt.
Kendrell win on the punch.
Averages 38 yards per punt, 33 on that one.
First down for Milton at their own.
16-yard line leading such team.
Nothing.
We talked about these two teams haven't played since 1979, Norcross leads the all -time Series 7 to 1.
What a statement win.
This could be a Milton, you can pull it off as we are still.
Long way to go here before half-time.
I'll go by on the defensive line offside.
That was a gift card, goes our guy again, gift card big-time player, but you got always make sure that you got to keep your composure.
You can't put this off any closer to 70 to 72 15 to 8270 big boys, school buses.
That's right.
That's right.
The ride and then put that power play.
That's what that's what they're doing with brisker first and five now quick, snap.
Put toss out in the flat.
That's number two.
Nathan Prater for the game.
Devon, good beer.
One of the twins we talked about Coach Maloof.
We asked him.
How do you, how do you tell the two twins?
Two sets of twins apart?
Eva says, hey you or whatever number?
If you had a twenty play, two different positions in the switch.
Sometime about that.
He said it could happen because he just simply ask happy.
Which one are you and off this time brisker again, boy.
He's at a big first half.
Ben run, exact same place for him.
Seven times have a yards on that power.
Again.
Crystal power.
We're going to go right here.
He's going to bang.
It depends it again.
That's all they're looking for, is running the daylight.
There's a wall to the left because it's the right.
He's already 94 yards and eight carries into just one right there to get the first down.
Keep her here by MacLeod.
He's got a lot of room past the 40 big stick as he gets into the secondary.
13-yard gain big play right there, Eric: the stuff.
Great job right here.
Getting downfield.
Nick Wilson.
Excellent.
Does a great job moving.
He's a road grader.
Headed to Stanford.
Again.
That was another Power Play.
That's predicated off of blocking the nose guard.
Excellent job.
Job there by Austin, McLeod and great design on the skin because that's that's going directly in the middle.
That's the entire.
We've got an injury on the field.
That's a one of the officials actually was down on the field.
Talking to the trainers.
There.
We.
All right.
Let's Harris Patel.
Various look gets a block, can't get out of the shop.
He might have pulled a hamstring going down.
We smiling.
That's a good thing for the hammer.
You know, just let's just hit us.
Just get to have to we're glad he's all right now we can laugh about a little bit.
I told you they got school buses.
That's how they block the day from Milton.
Nick Wilson, 3.8 GPA, and all the Leadership Council is and does all kind of different things as a leader in the community, great asset to Stanford.
The First and Ten for the 41 now.
The cloud empty backfield calls his own number again.
Nowhere to go this time job woke up, Damon Woodcock.
Another, another big Joker.
Yeah.
Yeah 61 210.
They got some size over there.
But the quarterback power does a good job.
He's Slants inside.
Excellent job.
I mean what they're I think Norcross is starting to see that they're running behind the center.
They're running behind Tyler Perry and Nick Wilson.
No gain right there.
Run again.
It's brisker again.
And why?
Tasting 100-yard, Mark before half-time.
He's got about five there.
So he's getting close.
We're inside three minutes here to halftime.
Brisker already a touchdown, run to open the scoring in the first quarter as Milton, still pitching a shutout here.
Now was very say, they must sound like a broken record, but the only have records no more happy kids.
Listen, when they know what they are.
Is that a broken iPod, right up, the middle power.
Play 94, yard.
Odds are now Milton 125 yards on the ground.
As a team, third and four handoff again.
Who else brisker?
This time.
He stopped pleasure.
Is there.
Woodcock is there?
Brings up fourth down.
Might have gotten the yard, but it'll Force Milton the punch.
And I think that's part strategy.
Keep banging them.
Banging them the clocks on your side.
I think coach decristofaro is comfortable going into halftime 16-0.
And if you're Norcross got to come out and take your chances here and put the ball in there with the play make is that they had Simkins Back to the Sea.
Good punt makes a high bounce Simpkins, takes it.
Short gain 42-yard punt.
Nice punt by Ethan, Cena's place last year's punter, Matt Moskowitz, one under Navy.
After her, he was always good at getting guys, getting to putting teams inside the tent.
Let's go down now to John Nelson on the sideline.
Okay, I've officially Completed my homework assignment.
When it comes to quarterback and Center snaps, when the quarterback lines up behind the center versus a shotgun situation, you're talking about a 30 degree difference in the exit of the football 12, a 45-degree exit on a snap out of the shotgun, or it's straight up and it's all muscle memory with the center, trying to figure out what direction he's going.
Thanks John new quarterback.
Now, Jacob gasps.
It's in the game for Norcross.
Nothing going.
So he keeps it on a run and gets good yardage.
Help pass the 20, Continues the one now toward the one minute Mark is nothing here.
Smart smart play here.
Nothing downfield, run.
It live to fight again.
Blue Devils going to their number two, quarterback bulky.
And Barker do take first team, snaps and practice bargain.
The starting and gas are getting his first action here, nine-yard, gain second and warm for the 22, big stick right there.
Nice defensive play by Ryan Wilson, the junior linebacker for the Eagles, the player to Ron Wilson.
How big was that?
Just listen to this.
It, let's take a listen.
All right, third and one.
Now after that plank gathered Under Pressure trying to get to the first down marker.
He is gross.
It depends on where they spot.
It stops at 11 seconds, Charlie fault on the tackle.
The linebacker for Milton with that big hit.
Eddie's a job Charlie.
Parker, who does good enough for a first down.
It appears that Norcross is content to let the clock wind down and go into the locker room down.
16 nothing.
What a dominant 24 minutes.
It has been by the home -field Milton Eagles.
They've scored on offense on defense.
They got a safety as well.
And they have given this Norcross offense, very little to work with that big front for.
And led by that man on offense.
Nicole brisker almost 100 yards.
Yd 101, officially intend to Ares here, in the first half.
Let's go down now to John Nelson.
Thank you very much, Larry.
Okay, Coach score on specialist.
You got score on defense, all the safety.
You got a defensive return.
You got an offense.
Everything went right except probably for the turnovers for you.
Well, the two times we had a ball down here after the safety, we needed to get a score on 4th of June to get the first down.
That's what worries me.
We got to keep playing like we've been playing now, we got to limit their opportunities on offense and chant enhance ours a little bit and working dime defensively work in the 60 B.
Ski.
Everything in front of you also cake.
We got to the Pinckney kids.
Just too big to let run behind somebody Hill out jump all our kids.
If you stack them on top of each other.
Thanks coach.
Thank you.
Appreciate it.
Half.
Time starts right now, Mark Harmon, it's all yours.
All right.
Thanks Dad.
Coming up the half.
We'll hear from both marching bands.
Plus we'll have scores from around the state including that big one, Buford in the kitchen and we're going to put the principles to the test in our favorite game.

GPB.
Is your home for high school football.
All right, John Nelson joins us now for another edition of back, roads, and back fields, brought to you by the Georgia cotton commission, a Natural Choice.
For Georgia.
All right, we're going to talk about a great team and a team.
That's got a great player on it.
Coming off the best ever season in the history of ever.
We took a trip down to Albany to catch up with the West over Patriots to see what they're going to do for an encore with the number one defensive lineman in the country.
Since the West over program started in 1968, only twice in the history of the team before Octavia Jones took over as head coach at, they want eight games in a season 2007 and 1982 Jones's.
2013 Squad.
Did that one better wrapping up nine and three giving the school's first ever title in region, 1, quad, a now, the barn expectations have been set by the program for this year and beyond that was extremely satisfying for us.
All we told the seniors the year before last when they won eight games.
That on they had set the standard high and we wanted the next class and set the bar even higher.
So the win nine games was extremely gratifying for us.
But this year's group want to take it to 10 and even further plain and simple that means state championship.
You got the key trigger, Gumm better leadership and discipline we can get.
And the challenge has now been given.
It, lets people know that these guys over here been working, extremely hard know for so many years.
They have been told that they couldn't win football here at Westover, but I think the last few years we kind of showed people that is Of talent here for someone to come in and be successful.
The community has bought in and is huge for them to be experiencing a success right now.
Now that all country defensive lineman Trenton Thompson is committed to spend his college time.
And Athens, he can focus on what he thinks he and his team need to fix for their senior season.
We got to work as a team in the way.
My students.
You gotta come together like a zit me.
I got to be take more of a leadership role and made sure.
I be on point with everything and for his fellow Patriots.
However, it's been, let's just say interesting going A up against him and practice to get ready for those football Fridays skier.
Just hope he doesn't hit me, sometimes offensive line.
They block them and we're good.
If they block the in a real game against him.
You can block anybody play a little lie together.
He was running battle my opposing team.
I had to tackle and it wasn't easy at all.
It's great to see programs like Westover come up and make these impacts that they are in South and South Central, Georgia and Mark.
We're going to keep an eye on the Patriots, just to see how Trenton Thompson impacts everything down in south, Georgia for his senior.
All right back, roads, and back fields brought to you by the Georgia cotton commission, the Natural Choice for Georgia back to you Claire.
It is time now to check in with Grace Olson.
She is standing by with some very proud parents in a segment.
We call rent check.
Great.
Thank you, Claire.
That's right.
This is rent.
Check.
This is where we put the parents to the test of some, of those athletes on the field.
See, how much they've learned in the last 16?
17, 18 years.
This is Janet and Mike Turner, the parents of eagles Chris Turner.
Now, before we get to the trivia, let's flash up a couple adorable photos.
One of them.
Chris is looking steadily as a little kid with a suit on and the other one.
He's wearing a football helmet, looks pretty passionate in that photo, there.
Ayf a football.
He had seemed it just one was a hot day and he was just cool enough and During the win until he's always loved his football.
Now.
Let's get to some trippy of got a couple questions for you, Mom, which is the NFL player.
He likes to emulate most and model his game.
After Adrian Peterson Arian Foster, the name sound similar with the Texans, second question.
What is his least?
Favorite part of workouts or conditioning?
You don't have all these Park.
He knows all of it.
Squatting.
Okay.
He told me when coach says one more, but he actually means 10 and I was like, we can all relate to that.
All right, we, that's the end of our rent.
Check.
Let's give you some T -shirts.
Football Fridays in Georgia t-shirts for these guys to Sport All Season.
Thank you for joining us.
And let's turn it back over to Mark and Claire on the south.
Thanks Grace.

Upside down trees are under attack by a tiny Beetle, but look how quickly the infestation spread giant snails eat everything in sight.
Then there's this guy Sunday at 7:30 on GPB.
Welcome back third quarter about to get underway here at the Eagles Nest, Milton, leading Norcross, and a bit of a shocker right now 16, nothing here with Coach Maloof.
The start of the second half.
And what was that talk?
Like I know that the kids are young coming into the game, but what was the tacos, you know, it's just, we got to grow up.
You know, we're going to be in situations like this.
We playing a tough league in Milton's, a great football team.
They got a lot of kids back from from 23-year playoff, teams, and coach has done a great job with them and they're getting after it.
And our guys are, you know, in little bit.
Shock, which is okay.
They're young.
They're inexperience and we just got to pick it up and play our time, bomb defensively, you know, we're playing pretty good other than a few drops here and there, you know, we give them a touchdown and then we give them two points.
So defensively, we're right in this thing.
It's offensive.
Ly, we got to get some things going and we can.
All right.
Good luck in the second half.
Thank you.
All right, let's head upstairs to the Smith's first half, highlights and more stuff.
I think that's an official term, there.
He goes.
Thanks, John.
Well, coach as we suspected.
There's no question.
He says, hey there.
It in this game, but all offensively.
They've got to get something going.
First half highlights right now here on GPB from Milton high school and it's been all the home Eagles Micco brisker.
The big run to get the scoring goals and he's been rambling, Stumblin and run it through guys, and making some huge played, same play again here.
He's run this play over and over and over.
It's a pistol power play.
That's run by a lot of college teams Auburn.
They've kind of made that famous 101 yards in 10 carries for him.
And Court ASAP that one of the top linebackers in the country shows you his great athleticism.
Here are the pick six second week in a row.
The Eagles have scored a touchdown on an interception.
And we talked about this here.
This is the snap just making.
It's the team that makes the fewest mistakes will win right now, Milton's, making the fewer mistakes, and that's the challenge right now for Norcross to pick their game.
And look at that Milton.
166 yards on offense, even though Norcross has had the ball.
Almost 14 minutes.
The penalty is also again two turnovers.
See their your midget right?
Only three first downs before penalties for 30 yards for Norcross a lot to correct right now as we take a look.
Hello.
Here.
We are in the booth.
There's a to telestrator.
You go back up here.
I am right here, right here.
Actually, we're right here.
I'm actually right here.
I'm somewhere over there.
I'm a good-looking guy.
Standing next.
Well, Belvedere, way to you.
There you go.
Look at 1:16.
Nothing.
We Back to reality more cost down and they have the cable to start off the second half right now, Milton.
Trying to keep it going on the return.
Nice run.
That's Craner.
Nathan trainer on the return against it has the 20.
And that's where the eagle will start here in the second half and you saw the numbers there 19-yard return by greener.
It was look, if you're just joining us to discuss in a moment ago with those numbers.
This has been a very lopsided game.
The first 24 minutes, we talked about Micco brisker 101 yards already McLeod the quarterback three of seven thirty eight yards, passing over 40.
To waste our couple of catches for 34 yards and Austin.
McLeod brings them up to get things started here for the Milton Eagles and off.
Nice spin move their brisker picks up where he left off, still going in the crowd, loves the efforts, here.
He works it out.
Close to a first down.
It's time for us to say.
This guy is the next beast mode.
Excellent job.
You give them a spin move, and that's a real Advanced move.
When you're in high school, I'm just telling what this is.
I like, right here.
He's fighting.
He's scrapping.
You.
Look at those legs driving the ball until the great day.
Brisker.
A gown looks like on second down and one tough tackle their long like Ledger Ramon pleasure.
One of the top tackles on the teammates and tackles on the season coming in this week.
Somebody is coming off a big game.
Awesome.
A clown.
These are close to another first down for the Milton Eagles.
That would be their eighth of the game.
Quarterback draw with a power.
Look again, right behind Nick Wilson, headed to Stanford.
Excellent job.
Look at this.
He runs.
Look at this.
Block by Wilson 51.
That's why Stanford loves them want a good bear on the tackle.
The 58 senior for Norcross Eagles on the move.
The shot.
He's got it.
Playing the clown to Fortune and Milton piles it on on their opening drive of the second half.
Now, let me tell you what happened here.
You have to sweat put six seven guys to stop the running the body to stop.
Brisket brisker.
And now you keep up do what take the shot, take the shot.
And I saw that coming.
Excellent call touchdown.
What a throw by McLeod.
Excellent students on for that.
I gotta tell you what, we thought this might be a close game and we had no idea that note to come out with this kind of ballgame, this kind of effort on offense.
They have simply done whatever they want to do.
It all starts with the run, the sideline warning right now.
Let's see if they're going to call this back.
Well, usually you get the they don't take it back to it.
It might have been if someone went past.
What is that the 25 or went on the well, they're all coming back right now.
And boy, you can see that coach.
It's not like coach how he does not like this at all.
Looks like they're bringing it back.
That'd be huge.
John Nelson.
What do you know down?
There will be just enough.
There's a flag down at the 48 yard line.
That is the demonstration right now.
What's going on the flag at the 48 has Wipe Out the touchdown, a sideline violation, has resulted in a penalty and they call it from the 48 of Milton.
So that has what has wiped out.
That long touchdown.
Norcross guys is getting another life as a look at the flag right there.
All right, Dustin, let's go.
Let's break the fourth wall here a little bit.
There's the flag at the 48 coach to Krista.
Pharaoh is getting his ruling as to what's going on.
And let's just say it's a spirited discussion.
I'm glad I'm not there at the other end of that discussion, though.
Johnny Farrell here.
You see the offensive coordinator.
Justin bacilli also, and not only bringing it back.
But the penalty, a 15-yard penalty, only back to the 30, to the 28-yard Line.
This is a massive major penalty against the Milton Eagles.
You lose filkins, and another five for us.
Okay, Java Cena his mic went out there, another five yards for unsportsmanlike conduct.
So now all of a sudden in fact, the scoreboard has gone dark, they're so far back.
And in fact, I'm not sure thing is the first down marker is actually moved there.
Trying to reset the on the opposite side line here.
Kind of resent what they're supposed to be short, the 43 yard line.
Johnny back with us.
Yes.
I am.
It's a for all intensive purposes.
It's a 20 yard penalty and they're having to start things from their own 28.
Well, you know what, Chris Turner sent, it doesn't matter.
We saw him looking good in The Tuxedo when he was a young man and brings his a segment there at halftime, and he's looking good on that, run by here.
Turner's waste, no time at all.
And then very quickly, right back to the line again, to run this again.
I stopped right there.
Norcross momentum, swing.
When you get those kind of plays and now you going to get back with you off at your milk.
Can't got to control your emotions.
Got to control your emotions.
So wild.
Franklin Franklin.
Nice job on MacLeod here.
Finding that saying that?
That's a design play.
That's a design play Planet.
Stay looking where you are, great awareness by the receiver, but I'm going to tell you, this quarterback is competing.
Nice strip, 14-yard, gain by McLeod.
And the fumble.
He's out of the, I hand off the brisker.
He's got a huge game and more to the 30.
He's to the 20, the combustor second touchdown of the night Milton, just a tough town.
Anyway, he'll tease at all.
Benefit.
That's right.
Banquet offended.
Nick Wilson.
I'ma tell you when you look at this replay, another great job by the kid headed to Stanford offensive guard Smashmouth football here today.
42, your game charge on 42 yard, gain of the touchdown.
My nickel brisker suit on for the extra point and that's good.
And the twenty three, nothing lead for Knowlton.
We talked this week with Howie decristofaro, the fourth year coach of Milton's.
We look at the two.
In CSG replay, and he talked about, we'd run a run as a kind of offense and they've done that all night long Chuck and he said they were run spread.
They want to set up.
Flashing past.
They all work together like brother and sister.
They work together.
Here.
It is downhill, boom.
Great block.
Again by all above the entire front remembers.
What's one of the things we talked about today?
Larry John, we talked about the experience Factor on the offensive line.
This Milton offensive line.
Everything we talked about early in the game is Do nothing.
I mean, there's nothing else.
You can say about the offensive line in the running Marianne's, the tcsg.
Replay Micco brisker, the senior 154 yards now on 13, carry that drives 77 yards and seven players.
And again, two penalties on the same plane, for 20 yards, the sideline infraction, and then the unsportsmanlike conduct after that, put them all the way back to the ROM 28, they rebound from that and still take it all the way back down there.
That that wiped out, the fortune touchdown.
Down the brisker says I got your back.
No problem.
So suit is on for the kickoff now.
Learn a skill.
Build a career do it.
Now at gobuildgeorgia.com.
This kick off a building 23, nothing.
They now lead the two-time defending state champion, Norcross Blue Devils.
You're at home.
Milton a change of Fortune.
They still got a touchdown, despite that long kick by sudha.
That's a Touchback in the Norcross will.
Now try to regroup With Their Own 20-yard Line Chuck at this point.
What do you do at the end of the first half?
They brought in the other quarterback, your 14 gasset?
Yeah, right now, Norcross, offense, at half-time.
In the first two quarters was 146 on, third Downs.
Number one, that's not indicative of where they were under 40 yards, rushing.
I think 56 yards at the have total offense.
You can't win like that.
And now you're behind, you still want to stay in your offense here, still 3rd quarter running, not that way.
Bobbles, the ball that time flag.
At the end of the play.
A couple of flags, will see what happened there.
Devon Wilkins made the tackle and lost his helmet at the same time.
He's coming off.
A couple of players have helmet problems.
Now, for the Eagles, tapani made the tackle after his helmet came off, you know, you got to keep your helmet on, but they may pick this up.
Let's see what the call is going to be.
He's been trained with that.
Help the comes out and still go get them.
But that's the challenge.
Adam.
Where are you got to turn it down with it.
All is it gets melted take one more.
Look at it here, Chuck, but you get at all.
So I hear the billing.
He bobbles it.
That that's what starts to happen to keep your eyes on the ball.
That's interesting right here.
I like the effort.
He was helmet.
Got knocked off by guaranteeing.
He didn't take it off intention.
We got here.
He's a smart kid.
That's not gonna happen.
If and your Thomas does a good job.
He knocks it off.
He didn't ask you put he did take it off.
He was celebrating got knocked up.
Come on, the Telly on that.
I like the kids effort.
So first down a result after the end of the play and the penalty marker.
Back in the game.
He keeps it spins out of way from pressure up, high incomplete pass intended for generic Billings, right?
Deep, is there on the play?
Good job by steinhaus, man.
Mixed on house.
Castro's good pressure by here by styling house.
Got lucky to get out of that one.
Good spend.
Excellent job by the quarterback, got to make that place.
Just, you know, this every time they get close to making the play when it's one of those nights, you know, it's looking like it's cookie that way.
They got to make a plane or crossed Playmakers have to step up here and look who made that defensive playing Court.
ASAP, the outstanding linebacker for Milton will second down.
Now they hand off the other way to the sidelines.
That's Nicholas sermons.
The 57 sophomore.
First time we called his number.
Blatant Bingham.
Running the week power that coach Maloof is famous for weak power, running to the sideline, to the short side of the field.
They would have to make some plays in the air though.
Third and long right now.
Barker Under Pressure gets it away incomplete in and out of the hands is intended.
Receiver number 23, it's Kyle varnel.
Fourth down now.
In the Blue Devils are forced to punt.
It's a good nice stunt right here.
By Charlie fog gets in there and puts pressure on the quarterback should have made that play.
But again, when the brakes aren't going your way and they're not even when they thought they were with the penalties.
They still are things going the way right now for the Milton Eagles and they are block a punt.
Great defense and special teams.
Microbiology Michael Collins with the great job, special teams.
You know, who's really happy about this.
Is Joe Allison, the special teams coach cousin of Davey Allison Allison, Family.
One more.
Look at this, when it comes right, up the middle.
Block it.
John, what have you got?
Talk about special teams, and special teams.
Coordinator is Joe, Allison?
Answer to a trivia question the first ever winner of the Lou groza award and he did it when Memphis was Memphis State University.
Now that he's been doing special teams first.
Cousin a Davey Allison Godfather to Davies daughter Krista active in the pit crew when it came to Davies racing and winning one.
What he would always say after Davey died and he was still part of college football.
He would always put his helmet on and pray to Davey that he would be as strong.
Wrong as Davey was on the track that he could be on the field.
So having Joe Allison answer to a trivia question and a great source for special teams for Milton.
These days outstanding young man.
Thanks, John.
We talked to him before the game and he saw ironically he had appendicitis the day that he won the grows award.
I'm his son is a senior on the team.
He had appendicitis the first day of practice.
He didn't believe a son.
He said, I'll know you're okay.
Kid went to school that day had surgery that night.
They didn't know and he feels bad about.
Down like father like son, I guess it's all the penalty.
Therefore.
There is a good look at a Joe Allison right there.
First ever winner that lewd the toe grows Awards.
You mention All-America.
Yes, he's doing a good job, Larry.
And think about this Ethan sudha, one of my MVP will first half, great hunts.
Great kickoff and the punt Team, all the special teams have been.
One of the stores that this day the cloud now.
Back to pass.
Looking deep.
Got a man.
It's Fortune.
Does he end he's down at the one?
They're going to weigh them down at the one-yard line.
OB Fortune.
Damien Williams on the coverage.
34 yards pick up.
For the Eagles first and goal at the one to help me fix that power one back.
Power pistol.
Go downfield, Clash of past.
When you can't stop the run.
It's always going to open up play-action pass.
Milton.
Now, knocking on the door of a thirty two, nothing game, McLeod first, and goal to brisker.
And he stopped Ledger was their number five.
Excellent job.
Filling that hole by Pleasure.
Nice Step Up.
Good job comes in here.
Blitzes choose to hold gets down gets his hands on him stops the momentum.
So what you want to do?
I'm go line.
You want to stay low, play with Leverage?
It's really important Norcross here.
They have to say we're fighting for three.
That's got to be the mentality of this.
Norcross defense.
We want to stop them sevens a lot, different 30 outside of 26.
You got to fight for three, and hopefully turn over time out here in the field.
Right now, as you can see, coach Keith Maloof 19th year, we've mentioned back-to-back championships.
You mentioned, losing 60 to seniors.
And, by the way, this he wonders.
How long did he keep this going?
They've got a freshman class.
He says, his freshman offensive linemen are bigger than his varsity offensive lineman.
They've got a lot of talents into Pike and this is his fourth year.
It's funny how we talked about changing the mindset.
And the first thing he talked about was changing how we work out.
He talked about the Red Dawn program coming early in the morning at 6:00.
All summer, said the players made a commitment.
It's changed the way they play.
Really afford really got interested.
In fact, you know, of Coach, Howie decristofaro talking about.
Hey, we see what Norcross has done and keep Lupe's over there.
We'd like to do that.
We want to be on that end, right?
And part of that is having a quarterback that can also makes the plays.
And I mean, give a lot of credit to Austin McLeod.
Last year.
He steps in what, to play a game 30, what 13 games somewhere?
And he got bigger.
He improved, he started playing with more confidence and now you see my hair making big-time plays.
The big time on McLeod has just been outstanding for them as a game manager and making pushing all the right buttons for this Eagles offense for of 8472 yards, of course, brisker is not in the game right now and it s downplay 153 yards on 15 carries, although who lost somewhere in first down this time.
It's Chris Turner in the game.
And a good surge by the Norcross defensive front and get them out of the end zone, the door and gift card.
He is showing up today.
He's showing up.
Press is good job.
Pressing the center.
Excellent job.
By during kithcart.
He's a low-down their time right now for the Blue Devils to answer the call.
This is a group that look didn't start last year, but practice against a lot of division, one Talent.
Dick right there by number nine, the defensive ends and hurt my beer.
That would top Damon Woodcock denying the cloud and forcing Force down.
Does a good job contain.
That's what you want.
Sticks his foot in the ground.
Nice right shoulder.
Feeling a little sore right in here, Larry.
How's the Big Lick?
This is a big kick right here, and we'll try to erase this three points off the board.
Still got to score.
Three touchdown still going to get back in it.
Big player through the infinite writer, nine yard attempt.
And it's good time out here in the field and we'll take a break as well.
It is a whole Milton Eagles.
They hold on and get the field goal.
No touchdown, but they are in command 26.
Nothing over the Blue Devils.
What is By Moonlight?

26.
Nothing Milton on top.
Just past the halfway mark here in the third quarter.
Well, what a game this has been, you know, GPB Sports is all over social media and check us out on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.

Now GPB Sports on Facebook and Instagram and at GPB Sports on Twitter, Milton in command.
And they've done it on both sides of the ball 26 nothing right now, Ethan pseudonym the field goal to cap off that 6, play 18 yard drive and the Eagles have answered.
Everything Norcross has tried to throw at them.
I like sudha.
I like you can see that.
I like his game.
I like the way he's playing it kicked off.
He's done everything today.
He kick off into the end zone yet.
Again, Simpkins on the Touchback and First and Ten.
Now for Norcross.
Well, we've seen or cross try the direct snap to a couple of running backs that didn't work.
Resulted in a safety.
They brought in their second quarterback Gasser that didn't do much before the end of the first half.
Let's see what coach Maloof drums up this time Matt.
Was it effective Santonio map when they brought him in and you know now they got to throw the ball.
Here's where when you're on defense Pete the we stood defensive coordinator at Norcross.
Defensive coordinator is thinking go get him.
Once again, just a big-time play on defense at Sal Beach AJ Beach.
I mean dollar them up the built defensive coordinator.
He's telling these guys pin your ears back cuz it's time to go pin your ears back.
Let's roll.
And then when you're on defense and if you're on Milton's defense, I mean this is what your dream of being in control and all you do is rush the passer play coverage shotgun.
Look now for the Blue Devils on second down, Barker Under Pressure yet again.
Almost a great catch ball was low.
But that was a great play there.
A great attempt to say bye Jared, Simpkins the sophomore, but he couldn't come up with it.
But again, that front pressure, we've talked about the entire game.
The Milton Eagles are really big.
Keep in mind, while Norcross has emergency an entirely new starting lineup, losing 62, seniors last year, Milton actually has most of their starters back from last year, including everyone along that defensive front and its really paid off big.
I am third now in long for Norcross.
Yet.
Again.
You want to keep guys on 96, Nick Stein, Haus winning ever, getting up, feel good, so much pressure again.
Ball in the air.
Good defense.
Again Beach was there.
Gotta watch the next on house.
Is this cause and have it on the left side.
96 to last place.
They're bringing them inside.
Got pressure that time the first time.
Hit the quarterback on first down on second down.
I'm sorry.
First down last time you want to get inside these, he's got great hands.
I just watch them really good technique by the young man.
Went probably the best athlete right here on this team.
In fact, race got more on dickstein house here after the punt on fourth down.
Fair catch called near Midfield though.
Back away.
Picked a good Norcross, bounce into Milton territory and down about the 42-yard line.
Grace.
What have you got on Nick Stein, Haus?
All right.
We've seen a lot from Nick Stein, Haus on the field tonight.
We see a lot of football players if they're going to double up their sports, that usually go to track.
But Nick has found another activity to add to his year-round football conditioning, Nick performs with Milton special, Cirque du Soleil.
He was in the spring program.
They called rostova this last May and April and he was the strong man in the show.
Now, when I talked to Coach decristofaro, he told me that Nick came into summer, practice with great physique, ready to go with so much strength and he attributed it to his work with circus life.
Despite the Olympic weight training program.
They had in all of that intense regimen and guys have been talking about all day long, guys, back to you in the booth.
Okay, grace.
Thanks so much.
Yeah, coach says he's the strongest kid on.
The team and look at that, was impressive carrying two other guys.
That's like the first down.
It's a game about a three-yard gain.
5-yard gain of the second down and five.
He's at the 158 Mark.
Now 16 carries.
He has it again and to Norcross territory past the 45 and another Milton Eagles.
First out Micco brisker has been the story of this game by far.
What you're looking at here?
You're looking at this blocker here.
Just the center blocking here.
Rubbing them when they blocking combination block come behind them.
These will go right down hill, guys.
He's gonna.
If the sitter gets his block, the gods going to come behind him.
As you see, they did block down, come around.
That's a combination block.
Every time they're going to do first down, melting on the move again, but we've got moving along the front line here, and we'll see that goes against looks like it's gonna be a grinch Norcross.
It's the Thought of sides, 5 yards will be first and five.
Now for Milton and what you're seeing here now is the Milton offensive line.
What are the things we talked about earlier was experience.
They're going multiple different styles of blocking.
They're doing Zone blocking.
But right now, what you're saying is this is power football down.
They're going to run in between the tackles Norcross, got a boat, an X here and play The Run and I click Temple again, more in that one.
His brisker again, doing his best he fumbles of, although, that's beast mode impression, which like Norcross fell on the ball and they did second fumble lost this game by Milton and his, the Blue Devils taking advantage.
The question, now is we talked word from a coach Blue from John talked to him just before the third quarter, the start of the third quarter, can they take advantage on offense?
They have not done that yet this game, but good job, same play.
They're still rubbing.
Good job.
There.
You see.
They tackle him.
Get their hands on him.
Good job by good beer.
Plus the scrapping daughter, good.
The ball Woodcock they're forcing the fumble and sold or Crossings over on its own 39, very little offense.
Now for the Blue Devils, they have to get something going to 343 marker in the third quarter and again down twenty six to nothing and you got to stop the run.
If you're Milton, I'm running.
I might not throw another pass.
I'm running the clock out, just keep running running running.
They got to make some plays here with their with the quarterbacks are a cake Jacob gathered in at quarterback.
Now for Norcross out.
Of the shotgun.
He drops back looking long.
He's got a receiver.
I'm trying to get it to the Southward.
Speedster, Jared Simkins.
That was a great call.
The defense got confused a defensive backfield lost their assignments.
That could have been six if they could have connected but instead it's second down for Norcross and he throws pretty has some pressure coming on.
I'm late, makes it pretty good road.
Got to make this play.
Why?
Got to make that play and confusion.
Are Beach looking to the sideline later to his defensive coordinator.
Trying to figure out exactly if that was his man or not.
Some confusion.
Milton escapes, second down and 10.
Now for the Blue Devils quick, throw left side by gathered.
It's complete.
Still on his feet.
Good job.
We can release that Mickey Reed on the caching server.
That good job like that all around the field and number they're shutting out the defending two-time state champions.
Now got to keep it in perspective.
Now, please it right now.
Norcross hasn't threatened yet today outside of a few busted coverage is by this defense from Milton heck of a job done by DC Pete.
The Whisper Milton.
Now third and fourth I get to the 49 for a first down for the Blue Devils.
Gasps what looking deep again, this time.
It's all kept away.
A great play defensively by number 20.
We call this number Nez.
De the entire night.
Great job, right there, but we got there in zone eyes.
Good job by the quarterback drops back, and he's in the zone.
He has he's over the top corner back, sitting back.
That's where it's supposed to be right there.
Over the top.
They got a to deep Zone and that's exactly where he's supposed to be.
Does a good job.
This look is mr. John Chiang Xander, the intended receiver there for Norcross.
So it again, Get it brings up a fourth down and listen or cross-dressing say this Milton defense has been outstanding quick snap here, trying to catch Milton off-guard.
Just a bit Craner dropping back.
Milton right now.
It takes over but you look at Norcross and what they've done after the 40-yard punt.
Again.
This is one of the top programs in the state back-to-back state titles went to 15 and 0 2 years ago, to win the 6A Title, 5 region Titles since 1991 and the playoffs seven last eight years.
And again five playoff appearances in the fifty years before that.
So what a great.
Run, this has been here lately.
And of course here, as you can see the last 10 years.
They've been simply outstanding but they are getting it handed to them right here.
First down.
They go right back up the middle as you would expect again that right at you running offense, has coach on how he was talking about Turner this time on the carry brings up second down.
You know, and Coach Maloof, he's done a great job and think about this two in a row.
You got 60 freshman, you lose 62 seniors and the things he's already composition are coming in this game.
It's a young team still, but give me a lot of credit.
You hate the best team on Game Day.
Using wins second down.
Now that's trainer.
Now freighter can get a blocking.
Good open.
You did not Nathan Craner.
Nice tackle box.
That was good job.
Good job.
Getting off the block still competing.
That's what I like to see.
No matter what the score is.
You still want to compete.
He does a good job.
Gets his hands on the receiver to the wide comes off.
A block makes a good job as a good job across defense to get the ball back and then nothing on offense Tonight.
Third down right back up the middle and they are not going to make not going to make enough to the first down, bro.
Skaar stop.
That's a rare occasion tonight fourth down and Milton have to punt it away.
We're running at power that pistol, power up.
The middle is not a, not a new occurrence.
And, you know, let me give him credit.
They're running the ball.
That's exactly what coach the cross.
The farro said they were going to do, it will run the ball.
It will get after it.
They will keep powering pounding play-action passing and I don't surprise me, but it does surprise me a little bit to see this offensive line completely dominate.
So far on the Run versus lacrosse horse down in one suit.
What the punch that Simkins back to receive but it's a short punt, it looked like it might have paid off in Milton player.
Smart move right there to knock the ball out of bounds.
27-yard punt, spotted at the 49 yard line.
Norcross, that's with the Blue Devils will start.
Heat not quite getting this Milton lineup, they're worn out.
But boy, they've done a quite a job that offensive line back to live action.
Now, it's Barker back in the game, Excuse me.
Yes.
Barker in the game after a Jacob gassers was a quarterback in the last series going up long and incomplete intended for jerking.
Well, good pass, rush.
Here comes up on this fine house again.
Got to make those plays, and that's where the when you play in this cover to your plan is Zone.
That's where the hole is down the middle, because you got both safety.
Over the top plane, over the corners.
And that, that's exactly where you want to throw up.
But you got to make that play.
If you want to get back in this game.
It has had some success early this game in the short passes to get Barker some confidence that got away from that now, trying to go deep and score in a hurry shorter paths here.
That's the plate.
That's what we're talking about.
Great play here, Josh Alexander with a great effort to stay on his feet and gets out near the 40 yard line.
Looks like it'll be a first down for the Blue Domes of nice job by Josh Alexander.
Nice, bro.
Good job.
Up here gets the ball out of his hands, quick.
Josh, Alexander catches.
I like this.
Right here.
Puts his foot in the ground.
Gets back up.
Great balance.
Great change of Direction.
Excellent, run.
Excellent.
Catch by Josh, Alexander.
Stomping measuring here.
Time on the clock is stopped of 48 seconds.
Make that 40 seconds in the third quarter.
They measure see if they made enough for the first down.
Both these teams have next week off before they begin region, playing.
Pros and chose their talk about Milton again.
What they have coming up and the great thing for them.
They wanted home last week.
They're at home here tonight.
They won't have an away game until going to enema that start October.
Yeah, that would be, then that would be a good game, those guys.
They're going to compete at Etowah, you know, this Milton team is off to.
To a fantastic start, you couldn't ask for a better start than having beaten Norcross, if it finishes that way and having a break absolutely first down and ten.
Now, from the Milton 41, Barker the pass again, looking deep.
He's got a man in there.
Carpet is again bounds.
No.
Jared Pinkney, the receiver 65 228, senior, Georgia, State among the school's trying to land his services in college second down.
Now, Barker now 9 of 19 for 46 yards.
Got a penalty on the play penalty against Norcross.
Plagued him all night.
They've declined that penalty.
They're going to take the play and make it second down and ten.
Now for the new Cross Blue Devils one more.
Look at that, the end of this right here.
You see here.
He's out of bounds here.
Can I tear?
He's already out?
Yeah.
Yep.
All drifted a little bit Parker quickly to the right side over.
Throws his intended receiver Josh, Alexander defended by Court ASAP.
As we mentioned the top of our telecast tonight sap.
Penalty.
Now, another penalty legal motion.
It's against the Blue Devils courts.
ASAP has offers from Michigan state.
Has some really good teams, you know, Tennessee.
It's really good team.
Up-and-coming team, right?
Butch Jones second season up there.
It's got Rocky Top singing again up in Knoxville.
Whoever gets Court ASAP.
They're going to get a great young linebacker in and I'm he really loves to fish but I he's big-time fishermen.
We might to get out on some of these Lakes, some time and cast out a little bit, great athlete plays.
Small as well for the Eagles.
Coke speaks very highly of him.
So after the five-yard walk off.
15 yards and a first down Barker looking in the car like that his second one of the night step.
Returns it to the 45 yard line, and the militant defense doesn't again ports.
Hey sap.
The senior 17 yard return a interception.
Another turnover forced by the militant defense line.
You see, right here.
Next on house gets pressure forces the throat, we talk about him, then all a sudden Court ASAP, but to play makers, that we've been talking about in the second half, but it's Milton defense to stall Works.
Show up again.
Nice pressure.
Charlie fault right there.
Number 43 with the Right into the hands.
This great defense Norcross offense, trying desperately to make something happen and they cannot it's Milton ball.
Now, their own 45 10 seconds ago, until the end of the third quarter off to McLeod since trainer in motion handoff to Turner up the middle.
Skip the first tackle and current gains about for out to near Midfield, will be second down and six as we come to the end of the third quarter and won a game, this has been tonight.
And for the home-field Milton Eagles, great defensive play there by Norcross, but not enough of them.
They've been many many more by these Milton Eagles and they are in control to and push-ups and sweat into a 26-7 leader.

We came to you earlier with.
A trivia question.
We asked who was the first Norcross player to win Defensive Player of the Year.
In Georgia.
The answer Marcus Jackson, you can see him over there on the sideline.
He wanted in 2001, went on to play with the dogs in Athens and now is the defense.
Ends coach with the Blue Devils.
So Brandon Brigman, he answered the question on Twitter answer, too quickly.

Okay.
Grace.
Thanks so much grace.
Yeah, he was quite a player, wasn't it?
Yeah, it was, does a good job with that d-line.
They do this a lot of great talent at Norcross.
He does.
And this is a learning experience for them tonight.
What do you have?
Yeah, that's part of it.
Remember this this same program, lost 50, 50.
Last year their opening game on national TV.
So one thing about Norcross is they understand how to gotta let it go, you'll come back and live to fight.
Again.
This is a strong program, great Foundation.
Coach Maloof has.
And its really interesting though how things happen.
But again, they'll be back.
They'll they'll be fine.
Well, we talked about again, how coach Howie decristofaro of Milton said.
Hey, we want to run this fast Temple offense.
We saw on our scrimmage back in pre-season on the fourth quarter.
The guys were grabbing their shorts mean they were really out of Breath, that's a fourth quarter.
Now, a very hot knife to get on the field.
A long time.
A lot of players run as Milton starts off here, the fourth quarter going the other way.
Now across Midfield, they get on the Run.
That's Chris Turner.
Again.
He gets the short game, 600 -pound, squatter, Chris Turner, strong guy and you know, he's in the backfield.
It didn't really strong and you got to give me go brisker.
I mean, a lot of credit looking at what they can do, but it starts with the offensive line and this We talked about their returning Five Guys from last year, which is huge today.
Brisker not in the game right now.
Micco brisker for Milton.
He's got 166 yards on 19 carries in the two touchdowns quarterback.
Austin a cloud 33 yards on six carries third down now need for to get a first down the cloud overthrows his receiver looking for Fortune over there, brings up fourth down and this time the Norcross defense holds and that's one thing that coach decristofaro talked.
Bout is is MacLeod, throwing a ball better improve, and he's done.
That said, he's a lot better on a deep pattern.
But here, that was saying, you know, let's we do they know where we've been running.
We're trying to run the clock out.
But let's go out and try to make a throw.
Get them in the game a little bit.
He talked about wanting to use this to seek exactly where we are as a program.
And through three quarters.
He has to love this fourth down.
Now sudha, get that deep down.
Upon try to 20.
I bet inside the 20.
If you're just joining us here from Alpharetta at Milton high school.
It's been a brisker kind of knife.
Forget what the Mercury may say.
Only on the thermometer brisker has done it all.
He ran out of his face man.
You ran out of his face man.
Great job by here, guys.
Running downhill, you bang it.
Are you bending.
Excellent job.
Nice work.
Nice work.
And I like this right here, this right here, like that, instead of beast mode for Seattle.
Nice.
Does a great job as down.
Now, in the pitch, cats are back in the game at quarterback.
The pitch right there for Norcross.
I like your hair sermons what I wear.
I like this right here.
I like that hair style.
Got the, my thing.
Is this.
The young men are growing up.
He got a beard.
I can grow my beard to us.
40 years old.
He is a grown, man.
Yes.
He is.
Let Me Go a Everybody on this night to the Seattle Seahawks All-Pro.
Running back Marshawn.
Lynch brisker is at all two touchdowns 166 yards on the ground and there's really care what this Milton offense.
The second down now for Norcross, that's gastric band, deep, but it's intended, receiver, Alexander slips.
Just past Midfield, morning to the filler.
Want to call.
What's a flag?
It's not coming.
It'll be third down.
Now for the Blue Devils, you know, it's really interesting talking to coach decristofaro about the new culture, how he's He's had to evolve every 32 years.
Now.
They play music at practice.
All different genres rap country and is Jesse says it gets the tempo, going with the young kids for, that's what everybody's doing right.
Now.
You go to the SEC teams.
They're playing music.
And I'm gonna tell you this, when we played High School.
I played at Clark Central for Billy Henderson play music.
You been I've been singing on the field at school without me late.
That's changing with the times.
I like to adjust to changing the diamonds of coach.
And I was living right tonight.
Third down.
Passing the sideline gets it complete to Jared symptoms.
That's enough for a Blue Devils first down one more.
Look at it.
Well, it's good job right here.
Running your job running the floor.
Getting out, getting out of a pocket.
Nice catch, Twinkle Toes.
Nice job by sentence.
Only a sophomore to get both toes and just needed one out to the 35 First and Ten now, for Norcross, trying to get something going.
It's been nothing on.
Spends all night for the Blue Devils.
Cassatt with the handoff slips, a tackle, but only can't go any further.
Number 56 was right there.
Michael Collins, how many times we called his number tonight to get the Nicholas service?
The sophomore to Cape Town from a big gate.
Well, John said, talk to coach at halftime.
And he talked about Pete.
Deweese is playing a dime defense and challenge them upfront, great job.
And they said the strength of this team.
Is there D line in whole line, and they're doing a great job.
Right now, playing the Run.
So, no gain second down.
This time, it's Gasser rolling to his right good coverage, down field.
Finally throws.
It's knocked away.
Looking for Alexander sap, there on the plate yet again, and you talk about court ASAP, and this young man to take one more replay of this Chuck, great defense.
Well, yeah, quarterback.
This is what you call a dash trying to get him out of the pocket.
Too much pressure.
Good job by Court ASAP.
Well, jogging over to the bar the way that wasn't a Saint Sava.
There was a way 21.
Actually, he's been everywhere.
Yeah, Devin Wilkins was there but to get back to sap because I think that's such a great story.
Welcomes.
Good.
Look at him.
Three year.
Starter.
Hope said, he walked in three days before a sophomore year and replace a senior, never missed a day of lifting.
So he's just an outstanding kids leader of this defense for Milton gassers.
My stalker to sermons that the defense is there and their sap leading the way and Stopping the Blue Devils on third down, swing the screen.
You know, we've got a good mix it plays down field and at this point you're down 26 -0, your Norcross, got to work on trying to get vertical and improving throwing down hill going down field.
That's going to be one of the things that you want to focus on now is tough though.
When you got that front coming from my milk from Milton Port ASAP has been there two interceptions one in return for a touchdown, fourth down now on the punt.
Fair catch is called.
Are the backpedaling Franklin, 47 yard kick?
It's a good punt back to the 16.
That's where Milton will take over first down and ten 826 on the clock as its twenty.
Second twenty six to nothing will take a break here from Milton High School, the Eagles in control, over Norcross, 26 different.
Georgia, cotton Farmers.
Want you to know cotton is grown in 91, Georgia, counties on over 1 million Acres cotton makes a 2.5 billion dollar economic impact and accounts for over 15,000 jobs in Georgia.
Cotton's Innovative production has lowered water, use per pound of cotton by 75 percent.
Since nineteen eighty one bale of cotton can make two hundred fifteen pairs of denim jeans or 700 towels.
Cotton is a Natural Choice.
Believe in yourself.
We do go, you Sigma.
Welcome back to Milton High School, 26.
Nothing to Eagles on top.
Larry Smith, Chuck Smith and John Nelson with you here on the call and he'll this month GPB brings you an all new Ken Burns special, the Roosevelts an intimate history which Chronicles, the lives of Theodore Franklin.

Don't miss this seven-part film premiering Sunday, September 14th at 8, p.m. And airing.
All week long here on GPB.
Well, he can wait to see this.
I heard Doris Kearns Goodwin talking about this recently for excited to see that here in GPB 26.
Nothing right here as again, we are talking about What these Eagles have done Norcross, just 70 yards on offense, total offense, total impulse.
First first down here.
Is that the handoff and risk are back in the game and he gets it again.
Going to the second down.
Let's go to John on the sidelines.
I have a question for dr.
Rush, if I could.
All right.
I'm in the building.
Hashtag.
Dr.
Rush.
Dr.
Rush 101.
You're down 26 nothing.
You're used to winning back -to-back titles, but you've had a lot of graduates.
You've got a bunch of sophomores starting tonight.
A new offensive line all of us.
How crucial is this of a learning experience?
Is this kind of a game for Norcross in a situation like this.
So these kids can be ready for the playoffs.
Come game, 11 game 12 and be ready to no longer be those sophomores and be playoff ready to chase after that third title.
Well, that's a good question, John, and I think what it is.
One of the things that you learn when you're a champion that you're going to have days like this.
So I think it's a great Learning lesson.
I mean, they won't think so.
But I think it's a great Learning lesson.
So you understand that.
How do we respond to that?
What I'm looking at now, John is the eye in the sky and I'm watching it.
You show up for low cost and that'll defined.
And I'm seeing it right now, good effort.
And at the same time, obviously, if you're looking at this from a Norcross fan perspective, if you're want to lose, you want to lose an a non-region game that makes sure that everything is set for region play.
That's why we talk about it, being three separate Seasons the preseason, which is non region region, which is the second which hopefully get you ready for that third season.
Yeah, that's important because they're going to have a tough region.
Coming up, got North Gwinnett.
You have Peachtree Ridge.
Ridge.
Looks like they're really improved this year.
And the point is they're young and these things happen.
But the point is, they got to figure it out fix the little things.
And the first thing is penalties, John too many penalties tonight for Norcross and those are things that you can control.
So, those kind of things, you gotta definitely focus on, but they'll be fine and taking advantage of the opportunities that are given to you, which they didn't do.
And Milton was having problems.
Yeah, speaking of and getting to that to looking at the Norcross schedule, right now, you see again, they're playing built in.
In right now, headed toward a loss.
They have next week off before, they began region playing and you can see there again some tough games.
Marisol Peachtree, Ridge.
Last week, what they can do, North Gwinnett has always tough.
This is a tough road ahead.
But again, a learning experience tonight and how they respond coach Luke has two weeks now, to take this tape and work on these young, young players for that first Region Game.
And I know what kind of program coach onesie.
This is again, you have days like this, but what you got to do is clear it and get ready for the next.
Gasps its toll on the game right now for Norcross.
Gibson himself is nothing is open, downfield and gets it across Midfield and to Milton territory, and that's where they'll set up for second down 32 yard punt.
By the way, just a moment ago on that play.
How the Blue Devils at this point, as you mentioned one thing on defense, I notice just hand couple of things one that offensive line really got at it as for the first time Milton slow things down looking a little bit of cloth will any kind of let that run a little bit.
Not so much a fast tempo, but Brewster was still in the game.
171 yards on the ground for the Eagles.
Why still in the game grumps 26?
Nothing.
We'll see if he returns when Milton gets the ball back.
Second down now.
For the Blue Devils in Milton territory and the great surge yet.
Again led by number 40 Ryan Wilson.
Coming dad, a blitz called and he was in the right place at the right time.
Here we go.
Just comes down.
He'll fill this Gap.
Excellent job.
Excellent job by Ryan Wilson.
Come on down here.
They were blitzing.
Anyways, it was a black past.
They're just putting their ears back now.
Well, she's had a great night.
Keep in mind that he's in the game at all, fat, and outside linebacker.
Biggest Christian, King, tore, his ACL last week.
So Nelson, The Substitute starter and doing a great job tonight, but these Milton Eagles third down now, Gasps looking to pass again.
He's under pressure rolling Looking-Glass.
He's got Alexander's first down and more.
Out to the 40.
The question is because he ran backwards.
He looked like the Zippy tackle, but then he has the first down, ran back to the 45.
That's where they're going to spot.
It can never be a fourth down.
Tackle by staff from.
Well, you're exactly right.
You never want to lose ground to gain ground.
I don't believe in that, but he's trying to make a play right now.
They haven't scored.
He's just trying to make a play.
And that at this point he's competing.
I don't.
Problem with that, do down 26-0.
He's trying to make a play.
Well, the team to that, the surge was what pushed him back.
I think if you still question, yeah, do you still getting forward progress at the 40?
And I don't think he had it anyway, but again, he's still trying to make a play.
Brings up fourth and four Blue Devils punting.
Fair catch.
Call the goes into the end zone, and flew for a Touchback and 145 yards, there on the punt.
John Nelson now joins us again on the sidelines, John, I could use this as a way to tease the GPB Sports app, but I'll let the two of you do that as a little later on, since I'm carrying them off at gpb.org, couple of scoring updates Carrollton, taking it on the chin again, tonight losing to Calhoun This Time by the score of 34 26.
Also, on the board, you look at a team like Tucker Tucker, having lost a Miami book.
See last week.
They're taking it out on Stone, Mountain 63, nothing at the half.
That's going to have a running clock in the second half, also, on the board.
Look at games like Pierce County, Pierce County, beating vacant County, 26, nothing, third quarter rough.
Start for Ken Cooper and his debut.
At bacon County.
Also, you've got Peach Tree Ridge beating Parkview 3121.
That's a fourth quarter score and I'm kind of scrolling here because I'm looking for a Clark Central score.
There we go.
Oh, by the way.
Linear 21, Clark, Central 7.
That's at the break.
We're gonna have a lot more scores as we go here on the night.
Also, in the postgame show.
We're going to update you.
And by the way, G PB has a sports app.
It's very, very popular downloaded.
It's for free.
As Chuck has said, if it's free, it's me or go to our website, gpb.org/lawmakers different things and keep up to date and be as fast in the stores is I do accept actually I'm faster on the scores, the new even if you do download the app, so let's send it back.
Upstairs will have more scores as we go and more in the post game show coming up, guys.
Okay.
Thanks John, you saw Norcross penalty.
So made it first and five broad necks.
There on the stop, the senior defensive tackle Number 96 for Norcross.
So Milton now second down that was a McLeod on the carry.
I'm talking about two things that are near and dear to my heart.
Jon Nelson.
It Dudley at Carrollton.
That was my not 8th and 9th grade coach.
Now, at Carrollton, think there might be only three o'clock Central my alma.
Mater, got to watch out with that now.
Chuck day.
Second down about two.
Now for Milton carry.
Let's turn around the carry may be done for the night.
What a night.
He's had.
He's on the sideline helmet all this enjoy.
These final 325 first down right now.
Note that again, what a night.
This Milton team coach Howie decristofaro.
Talking about he said, you know, really look we'd love to find out where we are.
But this is a team of Just win a playoff game this year, that would be huge.
That would define success for us.
And I think they're right.
Now.
We look at what he has right now.
And ask me world with what this team has done against a very strong program and the Norcross Blue Devils John talked about how this is the biggest game in Milton's history, and I agree with him and John, I want to ask you are as perception.
Now, how do you think the rest of the statement in the city will see Milton now?
Well, Well, I think this is a bit of a wake-up call.
I think this is one of those flying below the radar squads.
They've officially now, gone above flying below the radar there on the radar.
Now, because this is one of those cold water moments where everybody sits and goes.
Okay, Milton's for real this early in the season.
The way that they've taken advantage of your defending defending 6A Champion Norcross, and I know that you're going to have a lot of Norcross people sit there and say, well, we're very very offensive line.
You do all across Fortuna quarterback shipping, so if you want to talk about, I guess a harmonic convergence of events, catching a team at the right time being experience going up against the team.
That's very young.
I think that's what happened here tonight, but goose egg, though.
I didn't think that would happen.
How do you think that would happen?
Last time that happened against a George's?
School was a 42?
Nothing lost to Collins Hill Halloween, weekend of 2010.
They lost to Miami Booker, T. Remember 55.
Nothing right in the borders.
The beginning of last year but last time they had losses by shut out to Georgia schools.
They had to in 2010.
There was a 42 not the monster Collins Hill, one was the 38th.
Nothing lost that year.
So it's the first time they've been shut out in quite some time by folks in their own county 12-yard gain right there by Turner is Milton crowd.
Hearing begins to celebrate just a bit and they deserve a 26, nothing as the time the clock ticks down in this.
What are the kids say?
They are turning up there turning up in the stands?
Here's the thing.
I think of your the Milton Eagles and anybody associated with this school or this program.
This was a complete Victory.
You dominated on in every facet of the game as we look here.
McLeod.
It's the high snap comes in off.
Again, Turner.
He's in a nice night as well, when brisker wasn't running wild, but they defense, they forced turnovers.
They It stops he scored on defense The Eliminator running.
We talked about Norcross, his ability to run.
That's one of the things that they've been, you know, that they've been talking about that.
They do well, and the first thing you do is you got to stop the run.
They make Norcross one -dimensional.
It had what happened?
Well, and even that the passing game wasn't there, either great Pursuit, great coverage.
It was a great scheme.
They're going to be very, very happy, but, and they should and great food in the Press Box.
Thank you, Milton.
And what a job here Howie decristofaro 33rd year of coaching his fourth year here at Milton high school and he's got a real program.
Now what a job, he's done.
He talked about a we talked about all you needed to change the culture.
The only mourning practices making kids believe in actually commit to this and for change alone.
He says it's the closest to me is ever had and all these years of coaching and they show tonight.
It cohesive unit.
That really came together and did a fantastic job in shutting out a very strong and powerful Norcross program 26.
Nothing right now.
It's going down to Mark and Claire.
All right.
Thanks very much.
Larry a wild scene out there.
The Milton fans are fired up.
Maybe the biggest win in school history.
Yeah, you know, they came into this game.
Not quite knowing what to expect from Norcross because Norcross.
In such a Powerhouse over the last few years and they are going home, happy tonight.
All right, we'll be back.
John Nelson.
Now with the head coach in the winning coach and a happy Coach Howie decristofaro.
Go ahead.
John.
Thank you, Mark.
We're here in the scrum.
Hopefully you can hear us how huge house signature.
How cool was this win?
We know it's a great win obviously, but it's one win.
I would rather have a region when two weeks against Roswell to be honest with you.
I mean, it's huge for our Ram, gives us confidence kids are excited.
This is what it's all about right here that, and let's see if I can talk you through this.
I'll ask long questions.
You give me short answers with that voice.
You stomped on them early.
You kept momentum and you kept the pedal down.
That's obviously been your philosophy the entire time but it was pedal down the hallway.
We just want to make a few mistakes that our defense played football.
That's what we thought were the best.
At a defense.
Keep them off the field.
Let our guys score.
We had a chance.
All right.
One more question.
Before we go to break and start the show.
How much are you going to celebrate this?
Probably.
No one will be getting ready for Roswell.
I'm as much as I'd love to.
We'll meet in the morning at 7:00.
So we're getting ready for Roswell.
Congratulations.
Go celebrate.
I will thank you very much from the Eagles Nest, a signature win for Howie decristofaro and the Milton Eagles, the post game show on GPB is up after this.

We're going to have scores from around the state.
We're going to have highlights from this game and some post interviews coming up in just a little bit.
Plus some friends from Georgia traveler are going to join us to show you some great stuff.
They've been working on.
And that is all leading up to a repeat broadcast of this great Milton Norcross game.
You're going to stick want to stick around for that.
All right.
Let's check out the highlights right off the bat.
In this game was all Milton all the time.
First quarter of play.
This was a battle of unbeatens.
It's Micco brisker breaking.
A tackle breaking a couple of that goal, scoring a touchdown right up, the middle on a great run.
Here.
He breaks outside.
He scores, this made it, seven to nothing and Milton never looked back.
We move now to the Second quarter.
It is Court ASAP.
He will pick off the pass.
He'll take it into the end zone and quickly.
It is 14-nothing.
And Milton is on a roll late in the second quarter, a bad snap.
This leads to a safety 16 to sip in the third quarter.
It is Micco brisker.
Breaking Free scoring his second touchdown of the game to make a 6:37 and Milton goes on to win.
This football game 23 to sip your 26th is if your final score.
Alright, now we're going to send it over to John Nelson who is standing by with one of the star players of tonight's game.
Two star players of tonight's game John too.
Soon to two star players.
I have offense on one side.
Micco brisker, a defense on the other side, Court ASAP Nico, if you would close ranks, what was it, like hitting the B button all night, long behind, that offensive line of years and getting the big night.
You had, man, I owe it all to the line.
They open up the hose for me.
No, I didn't do was make one or two moves.
And after that, I knew we had him.
All right.
So then to get a win like this, how huge is it?
It's who's man being the number three team in the state.
Everyone around.
Georgia is going to who we are now, we made a name for ourselves tonight.
All right, let's go over here to defense, while we're showing the touchdown for Miko real quick.
I know you had a couple of pics.
Now.
What was it like jumping from the for trying to get into the End Zone on?
That one interception that you had as a feeling I never have and I can look back at it when I'm older say that.
I've done it before.
Yeah, you got.
You got hops.
I mean I play basketball.
So you've got Bert.
Yeah, a little bit little bit.
So once again, we talked about Myka, what was the week of preparation?
Like here you guys knew in your head that you could do this, but tall talk to us a little bit about what the week of prep was like, I just believe just that the team having the team believed in ourselves, even though the team that we just played in Norcross won the state championship twice.
Back to back, we erase that from my slate and mistook it as a same.
Another team looked on the board.
Went through all the plays, all the keys.
That's what we did.
So just take as another team.
No different.
All right, back over here to Meco about face.
Thank you.
Darryl.
You have no earthly idea how much, I appreciate what you're doing.
Everyone talks about signature wins, how big it is for programs and things like that, but in talking to coach D, it's like, okay, we might celebrate for a minute or two because we're back here at 7:00 because we want to win against Roswell.
I mean You know, when you're going in Steps From This Moment forward, how long do you celebrate something like this?
You know, we enjoy this win.
We're going to have fun tonight.
But we also realize this is just one win.
Our goal is state, so I get to State.
So it's a process of taking one day at a time.
One game at a time.
That's how we do it around here.
All right, one last question for you coach.
Hey, before we send it back over to the studio.
When you think about this, no playoff wins ever in the history of ever, for Milton is how big a step is this?
It's a big step.
It's a ladder this year and that's one step of that ladder to take on the state championship twice during State.
Whoever won the state twice Norcross.
So, I mean, it's a big step.
All right.
Well, appreciate your time Court, ASAP, Micco brisker.
Go celebrate, guys.
Go shower and have fun and all that kind of stuff.
We're going to send it over to Claire's, the postgame show continues.
Thanks so much John, whether the fans were here in the stadium, or at home, on their couch, couch gating.
They had their thumbs very busy tonight, keeping our Grace Olson, busy as she Checking in on line with what everybody had to say.
Grace.
What are people talking about?
That's right Claire.
We had a lot of couch Gators tonight.
We had people watching from all over the country.
When I went into the stands earlier.
Those crazy stands are packed full of a readout.
And they were telling me the family members on me.
They had extended family watching in all these various States all over the country.
We even had a man named David stretch watching from Blackpool England.
He says, he doesn't really have any connections here to Georgia other.
Than his love for the Atlanta Falcons and his game love for high school football through watching, GPB Sports online.
So how neat is it?
That we have viewers from all over the world.
Watching our high school football programs.
Also, make sure to download the GPB football app.

It has scores.

Thank you Grace, very much.
They're playing Queen here.
You we are the champions, We had that in our opener today to kick off today's covers.
Well, let's check out some of the scores from around the state.
Some very exciting one, some upsets and blowouts to talk about.
Let's start off with Buford not taking on McEachern right now.
The Wolves leading at 19 to 13 in the third.
Number one, ranked 618, the state Colquitt County.
No trouble with Chris County.
It is 35 to nothing in the third Camden County leading Glynn Academy.
2:35 that game in the third, North Gwinnett, two touchdowns better than Hillgrove right now.
Twenty eight to 14 in the fourth quarter, Hugh's leading the Grayson Rams 16 to 14 in the fourth.
Peachtree.
Ridge is saw them last week on football Fridays in Georgia.
They won.
Last week.
They're leading this week over Parkview 41 21 in the fourth quarter.
Meanwhile, it's Carver Columbus.
Leading Creekside 19 to 13 at the half Tucker.
Big overstuffed.
Mountain 63 to zip at the half.
It is Maris leading.
Love a 27-7.
In the fourth quarter and top-ranked, Washington County leading Mary persons, 24.
Does it remember?
You can get all the scores and info on the website and you can download that GPB sports app for free at the App Store.
Now, let's check out our play of the game.
The play of the game has to go to one player of the game.
Who was absolutely Sensational.
I Micco brisker, he scores the first touchdown of the game.
He would carry 21 times for Third and 71 yards and two touchdowns in this first touchdown really set.
The tone for tonight's game, Milton came into this one a little bit of an underdog, but they played great.
He scores two touchdowns, and that is our play of the game.
And now, it's time to welcome back in.
Clare.
Welcome back in Phil Proctor, from our traveler show and feel good to have you here, man.
You know what?
It's Friday night.
It's lights, man.
I remember being in high school and playing on nights like this is Nasty man, but thanks for letting me come and hang out with y'all for a while folks.
He's a Gamecock.
He played at the University of South Carolina.
All right, let's not talk about the Gamecock guys and we had a rough week last week.
Okay, but you know, I have a rough week coming up.
You know, what do you have to bring yourselves?
Thank you very much.
So, how about this, if we're going to change the topic.
Let's talk from football to Whirly ball.
You guys had a pretty cool experience recently.
Yeah, whirly ball is one of those things where, you know, if you got friends and family coming in.
Down.
You actually want to take them out over in Roswell and it's a little bit of let's say, hockey, basketball soccer, but you're in bumper cars, and so you got to stay inside the car, by the way, because electric flew all over the place.
So, somehow another, our travel team, got hooked up with some other folks, with GPB.
And well, let's just say we had a little friendly competition.
Take a look.
We now head to Roswell with the entire traveler crew for a whirly ball and WarGames Battle Royale.
It's a place where Legends are born Champions are crowned.
And Only the Strong Survive.
Welcome to Roswell and the Georgia traveler premiere of whirly ball.
It's five on five game playing from a bumper car.
Each player has a scoop.
They have to hit, take a wiffle ball and scoop it up and hit a Target on each side, elements of hockey basketball lacrosse.
Although you cannot hit each other.
With the Scoops.
Can't use your hands at all is very strategic.
You've got a bumper car.
So you're obviously bumping each other while you're doing this.
But but the idea is to work together to score.
It's a two points for every goal.
So it's a simple concept.
If you're in a yellow car, you're going to throw the ball to the Dot on the yellow board red cars, you aim for the black dot on the red board and you want to hit that dot really, really hard.
But you have to die.
You do hear a buzzer sound.
You're going to get two points for your team because you scored.
Then you let the other team take over possession of the ball games are 13 minutes at the end of that 13 minutes.
If you tied 2-2 and up your tied, unless it's the last game on the last game, when you're tied 2-2 and up, you get a 2-minute sudden death, overtime, 00, never tie to have to do something fun to get that over time.
Time to have any questions.
Obviously, there's a skill to doing this.
Obviously being able to actually use lies your risk to be able to do it.
Can you give us a quick demonstration of how that works?
I get used to used to this and swing and a miss.
That's so normal.
Hang on up.
Well, I'm so sorry.
I didn't mean to run you over.
Try again.
So you get the blue scooter.
So after a fun but chaotic, warm up.
It was time to gather the actual rules of the game and take on a Seemingly unworthy mess of opponents, we go through a lot of blocking, a lot of screaming and things of that nature.
So we're going to just try to give each other over Play Dirty.
No, I don't necessarily say dirty.
But yeah, we'll play dirty.
I think the hardest part about playing whirly, ball is laughing and playing.
At the same time.
You're trying to pick the ball up.
Somebody's bumping you your laughingly hard, you drop the ball.
It's hard, you know, it's not easy.
People think it's going to be easy to think it's a kid, you know, and start you thinking bumper cars.
Now, it's tough.
It's tough and it gets a serious as leagues.
We actually have leagues in and National Tournament every year so it can get pretty serious.
And of course we lost that one.
Do that was making all the shots extent.
Yeah.
That's what I'm saying.
You know, he's my 611 man.
I can't believe.
Yeah, so from the action on the court, it was off to our latest Adventure in this whirly, ball complex, known as War Games.
Think laser tag with a computerized yet realistic twist.
Alright, so my And it's called tank and knew that was my nickname, right?
This is our versions called for.
We did I get to beat or today.
You get to be.
So you see Thor and I have decided, we want to thank Thor.
And this guy storm and not a girl's name.
We're games.
Does that tactical laser tag that we've added on and it's the first of its kind here in the South and what it is is it's not the traditional laser tag that people think we geared toward toward adults.
It's like playing Call of Duty for real or it's like playing a first-person shooter for real.
You work as a team fully rendered environment on the inside.
That makes people feel like they're really at war with sounds and and ammo boxes and all kinds of neat gadgets.
We have proximity mines and and people can work up to those things and actually Makeup and we do keep track of the team stats and ranked players.
So we're really excited to be able to provide a lot of services to people that the battle was fierce.
But once Daryl stepped in and helped the girls we were overwhelmed and we lost our base.
Also here at the whirly ball complex, Rockstar karaoke, but for the sake of our audience, we're going to leave it on mute.
Chaos in the war room and Calamity on the court.
Even if the traveler team can't deliver a victory.
We always guarantee a good time.
I don't even know what to say after that.
So, how could you lose the see?
What are we talking about losing again?
Alright, let's talk about the fun in the activities that were so much fun.
Oh my gosh, you know what?
Like I said you get a bunch of people together and you go and do that and the traveler team and we have such a good time anyway, but then you go and specially when you start playing at laser tag thing, which I had never really played before but I like the idea of being Thor.
Look, I like the Michael Jordan.
I thought a whirly ball out there.
Well, you know what?
I'm glad you recognize that.
Okay, and he played with Washington.
Oh boy, don't we have some other scores.
We want to go to.
Now, let's give Phil a break.
You've been having such a great time, going around the state, getting some more traveler stuff and I want to hear about Copperhead.
Motorcycle Lodge.
What is that?
Okay.
So here's the deal.
I've always enjoyed motorcycles and I got my license, probably about six years ago.
So there was this place called a copperhead lies that used to To be for motorcyclists and you would take your Cycles up there.
All you folks, get together and they will party.
Well, they actually have opened it up recently for basically anybody.
So you can bring your cars up there and you know, we had a great time riding up, you know, one of these North Georgia Mountains and want to get.
It's so pretty up there.
That is the biggest thing that I enjoyed about the whole ride, but you know, I'm a food dude.
So when we got to the got my headlights, they had a tremendous selection of food.
So really, it was just a fantastic time, you know, you put food the Other and actually January, I think 2015 are new shows will be starting and like I said, we're still out here shooting right now.
We're having a ball to be able to just come out and you know, hang out with you George because you guys are the best.
Okay, that's all I can and don't worry about what Mark says.
Okay.
All right.
Well, let's send it over to John Nelson.
He's got a bunch of scores and I'm looking forward to seeing that final from Buford McEachern of you can find that.
It's not a final.
Yes.
I can't wait.
Yeah.
I think you used your nail clippers already.
So whatever Nails you Have left use them right now.
McEachern is beating you for 2019 at Tom ride and stadium.
That is in the fourth quarter, other scores, as we've gone Griffin went all the way to Burke County and beat Eric Parker in the Bears tonight 3622 the defending champs.
Still wanna roll Calhoun giving more problems to Carrollton.
For keratins, beginning of the Season, under their new head coach at Dudley Calhoun.
34:6 the wind tonight at Phil Reeves stadium.
Also Calloway rebounding after their loss last week to best Academy 14-7 there up.
14 in the third, overheard County and their big running back.
Durante Dunson.
Also Calvary Day.
Remember them last year in the single a private final.
They want over Brad.
Well, tonight 2821 Camden County playing Glen Academy last week.
You heard from Rocky Hidalgo and coming up in a couple of weeks.
You're going to hear from the folks and region 16a and at Camden County about just how tough that region is.
Right now.
Camden County's rolling 4510 over the Red Terror that is in the fourth quarter as well.
Carver Columbus leading 1913.
At the half that McClung Memorial Stadium in Columbus.
Over Creekside.
We're going to catch up with Creekside in a couple of weeks.
The reigning 5A champ and see how well they're going after their season to the point so far.
And we'll have highlights of this one next week in John's Georgia.
Also, you've got Central Makin right now.
They're losing 18:8 to how our that's a big matchup in Central, Georgia.
That is in the second quarter Charlton County won their game 41 to nothing and sorry Chuck Smith.
I know if you're watching someplace linear 3513 right now, over clark Central that's in the fourth quarter.
And we got more scores as we go here on the post game show that is just a mere sampling.
By the way, you know, we have an app that you can download is one of the most popular apps.
That's free where you can be almost as fast as me.
When it comes to scores, will have more scores coming up in a bit almost as fast.
Almost as fast.
He says he's the fastest guy in the west.
So I'll take his word for got you beat, you got that, right?
All right, our football Fridays in Georgia, postgame show will continue Phil Proctor sitting Along by, we're going to take another look at some Georgia traveler activity.
T+ will replay tonight's Norcross Milton game that's coming up in just a few minutes.
We're going to take a quick break, but don't go anywhere.
The postgame show will be right back right here on GPB.
Joe gets up at 7 a.m.
Washes his face.
Get stressed.
Grabs breakfast to go see then patiently waits for the bus.
Chats up his classmates goes to school.
It doesn't go in Great ACT joke, but you're only fooling yourself.
From the Amazon to the Andes Nature's aerial Adventure Continues in South America.
This is a continent full of City scavengers and colorful characters Creatures, Great, and Small come into view all from the wings of birds.
It's time to take flight on why Wednesday at 8, only on GPB.
A measles outbreak begins.
Its New York.
Don't see measles in New York.
If vaccination rates.
Drop, what are the consequences if you start to decrease immunization rates, the disease, has re-emerged Nova sorts facts from fears.
There's just so much information.
Is there such thing as an unbiased Source?
Okay, to question.

That's just the start of the conversation, vaccines calling, the shots.
On y. Wednesday at nine.

Welcome back to Milton, Georgia.
Welcome back to the Eagles Nest.
Welcome back to the GPB football Fridays in Georgia, postgame shows the Milton Eagles knocked off.
The two-time defending 6A state, champs Norcross Blue Devils by a score of 26 to nothing in a game.
They totally dominated from start to finish.
Yep.
We're going to show you a replay of that.
Fantastic game in just a few minutes.
But before we do, we want to welcome back in Phil Proctor of Georgia traveler, who's been tight taking All over the state and showing us the great things out there besides football.
Well, yeah, they are a lot of things to see in Georgia.
I mean, that's the great thing about, Georgia traveler is that we get a chance to go all over and get a chance to come and see you Georgia because I love being around my Georgia.
Folks, man, and is so much to see and do in this state.
I've been here almost two what 28 years, and I'm still finding things that I enjoy one Amicalola Falls.
Now, we were talking about Amicalola sound like it should have an extra file, hard too hard to pronounce.
Michael.
Okay.
Don't mess me up.
But anyway, one of the most majestic spots in Georgia, these Great Falls are just I set there and I just kind of looked at the water rolling down.
But then I also took a 5 -mile hike up to the length foot hike in take a look and see what happened.
Time to hit the Appalachian Trail with Phil, as he explores The Great Outdoors in a lodge where you can literally hike in was one thing that Georgia has is a lot of great state parks.
I'm here in one of them right now.
This is Amicalola Falls State Park, and I'm standing under this Archway.
This is the beginning of the approach Trail toward the Appalachian Trail.
Now, that's over 2,100 miles of trails stretching, from here in, Georgia, up to Maine, but it also boasts of another attraction.
That's one of Favorite, it's the largest cascading waterfall, east of the Mississippi.
We have nine trails in the park.
But really only to give you an excellent view of the waterfall.
In the first one is the base of the falls hike which is also our Blue Appalachian approach Trail as you leave behind the visitor center, and go through the Arts.
You take a left, go to the waterfall, and then it's a very strenuous hike up 604 spheres.
Well, we've been going down today is our Western States.
30 or the Ada Trail, which is designed for strollers and Wheelchairs.
And this is an easy three tenths of a mile on down to the waterfall where you get the best youth under the bridge.
So, halfway point 175 steps difficulty.
Strenuous.
What the heck?
Amicalola Falls State Park is considered one of Georgia's seven natural wonders.
The name Amicalola means tumbling Waters and Cherokee and at 729 feet.
This waterfall is something to behold.
They were first discovered during the Georgia Lottery 1837 when William Williamson who was a surveyor saw the waterfall rope back to, I believe it was Lumpkin at that time.
He said I believe This is the largest fall in the world.
Which of course is not true.
We have a beautiful Lodge with the Maple restaurant.
We have cabins, we have campgrounds.
We have a wonderful Visitor, Center and two, playgrounds for the kids.
Now, another interesting place.
You can stay at Amicalola Falls State Park is the length foot hike in now, literally, you have to hike in so I got my bag.
Got my water in, got my hat about to go, hit up this Trail.
Get Luce, I'm off.
Are Five Mile Trail is considered moderate?
A lot of people think it's a little more than moderate.
Before hiking in.
The mountains, is definitely a moderate Trail, very easy by Mountain standards before he won over halfway there hadn't been that bad of a walk.
Feeling good 1.92 go.
Well, in fact, hike in opened in the fall of 1998.
Say about 9,000 hikers.
A year come to stay with us, and we're a showpiece for a conservation here, in Georgia, within the state parks, where a green facility and we provide a place for hikers families, come up experience.
A 5-mile hike in the middle of the Chattahoochee national forest and provide bunk room.
So you don't have to set up a tent and sleep on the ground.
Great meals dinner and breakfast included and gives you a Great Wilderness experience without having to camp.
Five miles in length with hike in after a full day of hiking.
There's nothing better than a hot shower.
The hike in bath house is their most unique.
Amenity are bathhouse, facility is definitely unique.
We have composting toilets and their waterless, it saves us over 100,000 gallons of water a year and by nine, flesh or waterless.
We have a airflow system, that is sucking air through a ventilation system, and that's dehydrating our way.
Waist and encouraging bacterial growth that will break it down which we can use that as fertilizer on trees and shrubs after it's been composted.
So when they take it off site, they do some extra processing to it and it actually comes back to us in the form of humanure, which is a really nutrient Rich dirt essentially and it's great for using his fertilizer on your garden, won't burn the roots of your plants.
And here's the brave soul that wants to give it a width.
Definitely not.
Well, we don't allow cell phones.
We want people to disconnect from kind of the modern world.
Take a step back, spend time with your children, without being attached to your idevice and just enjoy nature, reconnect with families, friends, meet the guests that are here with you as well.
And truly experience the community here at the hike in and all the nature surrounding us.
Five miles up and five miles back mixed with the natural beauty of North, Georgia, Emma.
All the Falls State Park and the length foot hike and may have worn me out for the day, but it left me feeling good and full of memories.
I take it.
You got a hike in.
But you have to hike back out or they got a limo service for it.
I know it was no limo.
You actually have to hike back out.
That's why you go up one day and come back the next, right?
Yeah, and they feed you in between.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Well, I gotta eat.
I mean, I got to stay the nutrition.
I'm a small, man.
I gotta just make sure I stay fueled up.
And by the way, that stuff that I was smelling.
Humanure, thank you.
That's how they take care of that problem.
Okay.
Well, I wouldn't in the space show and it was just really bad.
Okay.
Okay, we're going to go stay away from that.
We're going to segue to John Nelson and somewhere.
There's a good segue, but John phillise in Well, we're going to get back to John later.
We had a little mic bug there, but we will come back with more of our GPB postgame show right after this timeout, stay with us and don't forget, the replay.
The game is coming up next.
During this performance, one student will drop out of high school.
Be there for your big finish.
This week on Georgia traveler.
We're all about strides and stallion.
What kind of wildlife can we see out here?
Lots of birds, Pelican pass by, Welcome To Paradise.
I hope you're not gonna try that again.
Never seen anything like that.
From the mountains to the coast on the next Georgia, traveler Sunday at 7 on GPB.
While most invasive species, you don't look as frightening as this snake, they all have the ability to turn an ecosystem.
Upside down trees are under attack by a tiny Beetle, but look how quickly the infestation spread giant snails eat everything in sight.
Then there's this guy.
Sunday at 7:30 on GPB.
When I was in school, I was very interested in what was going on in the classroom.
I even considered dropping out.
Did you know that High School dropouts commits about 75% of crime and they make a quarter of a million dollars less than graduates in the lifetime.
If you're struggling, find someone to talk to, that's what I do and I graduated high school and that is a decision.
That I will never regret.
Welcome back to the Eagles Nest.
Welcome back to Milton Georgia, where the Eagles have defeated Norcross, 26 2010, a very impressive win.
As Milton goes to 2 and 0 on this young season.
They are not in the top 10, but they will be this coming week.
I guarantee it with a very impressive win in tonight's football game.
Yeah, definitely.
And we are going to replay that game for you in just a few minutes.
But in the meantime, we've had Phil Proctor from Georgia traveler.
He's been filling Us in on all Great things around the state from whirly ball, two waterfalls and I can't wait to hear what you have next.
Hey, the next thing for the traveler, folks is a little Polo.
Yeah, and you and I were playing with this earlier chucker Farms chucker Farm.
Yeah.
Okay.
So if you've never gotten into the game of Polo, this next story will definitely get you excited.
I actually went up to check it out, but not only that, but they also had a little Wildlife that you could also experience.
Take a look, see what I mean.
We Begin.
This week's Journey with a little Giddy Up in Alpharetta, let's join Ashley for some Polo and chucker Farms.
Welcome to a place where the phrase saddle up his synonymous with game on here at the chukker.
Farm Polo Club in Alpharetta, Georgia.
A half ton animal in pursuit of play is the rarest sport you've ever seen on four legs for owner Jack cash in there.
Really is no place like home.
How can there be one home is one part Wildlife Reserve and one part Sports Club.
Both parts for the benefit of the masses when I came down to 1973.
It was just wonderful and I became a rebel almost immediately but goats come up come up.
Come on want to go in with them.
My body was born in the north, but my soul was born in the South and like, here we go.
Here we go.
Oh, oh, hey, having always wanted a farm jack, bought the 173 acre chucker Farm in 1979 after learning to play polo at age 48.
Jack, created his own field.
In 1985 today, his farm is always open to the public.
We tried 20 dollars per car.
So if you got a pilot bunch of people in the cooking in the car, you can come in for $20.
We play every Sunday for the made into November and I offer it to various organizations that want to raise money fundraising.
So then they come, they do their thing, we play polo and they make money.
And for instance, today.
We have Parkinsons.
And Parkinson's averages about 65,000 dollars for the day, the sport of Polo has transformed since ancient times when Persian kings, first organized stage matches to train their Cavalry, but the action on this field today is no less available for modern athletes.
I'd like to describe Polo as hockey soccer and basketball on a horse traveling at 35 miles an hour.
Try to hit a baseball with a stretched out cold.
And it's excitement.
It's pageantry.
It's skill.
It's teamwork.
Most sports you do on horses, and I've done a lot of different things, you know, jump hunting jumping and all that.
It's you and your horse.
And here, it's an actual team and the horse knows how to play to each match is divided into several Chuck has periods of play that last seven and a half minutes and like every sport Polo has its own halftime tradition.
We're going down.
You just last few seconds.
Were they going to be able to do?
Do you want me to s chucker stomping of the divots on her to?
That's where everybody goes on the field and do your best to Stomp.
The divots level the playing field.
If you have a role in that, be great, but if you have faith that's been to Winston.
Churchill said, no.
Our of life is wasted.
That is spent in the saddle.
I should add so long as you know what to do.
Once you get up here, that's why Checker Farms teaches writing and Polo lessons to all ages and Levels, there is no demographic breakdown.
If we can play polar, anybody can play photo.
You can definitely try your hand at the sport on the wooden horse.
But make sure it's the right hand literally are no left-handed.
Polo players.
I'm left-handed.
There's no left-handed, Polo players.
You'll just you'll just have to learn to play polo.
Okay.
Now, the Mallet still, an active player at 87 Jack's, appearances on the field.
Never fail to impress visitors.
Otters to Chuck her farm.
This man knows his hand book right now.
I feel kind of weak holding this.
How much does this weigh about 90 ounces.
Wow, work with me Jack.
Come on.
Okay, so ready, here we go.
Visualizing the ball.
I see it.
I'm going to hit it.
So I'm going to leave and I missed it.
Oh God, falling off the horse.
Thank you.
Yeehaw.
What Jack does here is unique?
He gives full of players an opportunity to start from the beginning and learn.
It's a nice place for people to start and I think it's the only place in the country where you see something like that.
Cashion's passion for his Polo horses, can best be described as unbridled, many ways.
I think of my Performance Horse Heaven because the horses living the way nature.
Intended.
What's your name?
Or your first visit to Chuck?
Her Farm will reveal the rest of Jack's three-generation.
Polo.
Family!
Watch for his children and grandchildren in all aspects of the sport.
It's a really cool experience because you get to talk to them to the players.
And the, you got to get to experience horses that I know a lot of people don't get to experience my friends.
We miss you too, but not just horses, a Motley bunch of animals.
You can't leave a match without first viewing.
And petting the other Farm celebrities goats pigs dogs, and one donkey with a confused sense of self.
This is Abby, Abby.
Abby has known no other companion, but the goes my God, so she she thinks she's a go.
With the winning team determined.
I was really beginning to see myself as a repeat attendee at Polo matches.
But as a potential player, let's just say some of us got off on the wrong foot.
So share the road.
I tell you, I've never played Polo, but it looks like a lot of fun.
We'll see you play a lot of golf.
So you understood the whole thing about the divots, right?
But at halftime, you know, have time we have bands and stuff in high school games.
But there you just go out and you just dumped on the divots, you know, I expected to see more Gucci shoes out there.
Stomping on those divots, but they're a lot of tennis shoes.
Why don't they do put a Turf like everybody else?
I don't think that works at the horse, which it good.
All right, million-dollar idea.
So here's the thing.
We got new episodes starting with Georgia traveler starting in January.
Just want to make sure Georgia y'all get ready because we are off the chain.
You know what I mean?
Well, Phil thanks for coming on and talking traveler.
I want people to know, you also are working very hard earlier today is one of our crew with the football.
Oh, you noticed that you were working.
Very good.
Got good.
Pictures of all of us, man.
I like this guy.
I want to stay around him a lot.
Gotta give you a raise, right?
Okay.
Let's check in with Jon Nelson, one last time for a look at some of the scores may be an update on that McEachern.
