We're at the Duluth Public Library.

And the exhibit, it's about art as a means to inspire conservation.

It's called the Hidden Realm.

You start with the stuff that you can see.

That's that's big, right?

People recognize trees and then you go into the hidden realm and you see things on a macro level that you don't see that often.

Probably 80% of what I take pictures of is insects.

So most of what I've shot has been along the St. Louis River area.

I can go on the field and take 300 photos and maybe like out of that 300 pictures that I shot, maybe three of them are something that I would actually print and put on metal and put on a wall.

And is a really good artistic photo, I'm seeing these photos and I caught a portrait of an insect that people don't normally see.

Maybe, just maybe, if I showed these pictures to other people, they'll feel connected to these creatures and they'll want to conserve them because insects are in trouble.
