Local beekeepers push back against proposed regulations

The Department of Agriculture was asked to formulate a plan to regulate beekeeping.

Beekeeping in New Jersey in the past was regulated by municipalities, but a 2015 law set statewide standards to maintain the health of bee colonies. The Department of Agriculture was then asked to formulate an add-on plan to regulate beekeeping.
