Minority Student Program at Rutgers Law school continues its legacy
In 1967 protests erupted in the streets of Newark and less than a year later, civil rights leader Martin Luther King Jr. was assassinated. That period of social unrest inspired the creation of the Minority Student Program at Rutgers Law school, which today continues its mission in empowering a diverse set of students.
