But I don't think he ever really played it.

And then we got Guitar Hero II.

So I got really obsessed with that.

Me and my best friend growing up, we got really good at it.

And I feel like once we kind of hit the ceiling with that, we thought maybe it would be fun to play real guitars.

And so the two of us took lessons together and played in all sorts of bands together growing up.

But, like, Ethan, he's not here tonight.

He's gonna join us in Oklahoma City.

I've been playing music with him as well since we were, like, seven.

and, like, I was kind of in weird zone with the record.

I wasn't sure what it was, if it was, like, maybe gonna be an EP.

And then I spent, like, 10 hours on the phone one day with a good friend of mine who kind of let's me bounce ideas off a him and helps me write a lot.

When the himbo dome line came up, that made us laugh really hard.

And it was, like, kinda insane, like, maybe we shouldn't, like, put this in the song.

Like, it's kinda, it's what even is that?

But it just made us laugh so hard that we had to do it.

The sky's the limit with fiction.

So that's been a huge shift.

And, yeah, reading's helped a lot.

Just reading, like, you know, Southern writers, like Gary Cruz and Larry Brown are some of my favorites.

That kind of writing's also very musical and simple, in a way, finding inspiration outside of music has helped a lot.
